Thank you... dint know why your fellow stans can't be this reasonable....

It's cuz this didn't debut with spectacular numbers and many of us want to clap back for all the shade y'all threw the last 2 years, but even though this isn't like AMAZING, it's still good and there's not much to clap back on here, so it ends up backfiring. :deadbanana:

Had this pulled a Spirit/The Gift or even an EIL, then we'd actually have something to go on, but as it is, this isn't bad. If it has poor longevity, that's a different story, but the debut as it is is definitely good. :clap3:

Beyonce doing almost 25% more than that other song, and it's considered the "same"  :rip:

Spotify charting day starts at midnight UTC, so no it didn't.

Most big releases get released at the same time (midnight ET), so it basically did. Most of the "first 24 hours" debut numbers are not a full 24 hours either.

holy cow I did not expect monsters to be this TRIGGERED :lmao:

this is excellent for Bey.

Why did the monsters try it when they know the numbers for SL are worse than those for BMH? lol

OT: good!

The way every other fanbase is giving their congrats on the solid numbers and the liddos are in a complete tizzy. :deadbanana:

The hive should remember this, too. The monsters vs hive stuff is pretty intense.

Both sides go after the other mercilessly.

I'm sure Break my soul will have more longevity.

Oh the Hot 100 threads are going to be a mess these incoming weeks :psyduck:

I believe this is the biggest streaming debut of her entire solo career. That alone is insane.

Good numbers for a Tuesday release let's see how it does Friday which is usually the highest right?

I mean by Friday it’ll be old material competing with new material so it’ll probably lag that day then bounce back up. It’s run will depend on radio, performances, tiktoks, or anything else that can happen along the line to get it to stick with people.

I thought she would have underperformed greatly, so these are great numbers. :duck:

If this song catches on Tiktok + pop radio, and the music video is good, the song will stick around. This could be a mega hit for her if those things fall into place.

And this is just Spotify, on AM SL didnt even reach the Top40 whereas BMS reached #3 :deadbanana4:

Which is especially embarrassing considering Gaga had Apple payola and promoted Apple products with the Stupid Love video :deadbanana2: YIKES!

These are great numbers for Bey. I honestly thought it would have less considering there was no MAJOR announcement outside of her instagram bio, and the random midweek release. Music video and live performance next, Giselle!

Gaga stans claiming a 1 million difference in streams under totally different release strategies is "minor". :WAP:

Are yall taking 1 million less of a payout? You think Bezos or Elon are happy about paying 1 million in taxes? Are yall discounting your fave selling 1 million albums? How are we quantifying the difference as "minor"? And whose comparing these songs? Bey is literally in a league of her own. 25 years vs 12. Hello!?

Tuesday release. No music video. Coming off of side projects that everyone dragged her for. A sound that's unlike what her core fanbase in the US likes. Almost TWENTY years into her solo career. 20.

Damn. She surprised me. I didn't think she'd do well honestly :deadbanana:

The Stupid Love comparisons... The standards are on the floor these days :rip:

I predicted 5M. So...

We will see if it becomes a hit. I doubt it

Are you surprised? It's coming from the same people who claimed Stupid Love's 50% drop was "extremely stable" :deadbanana2:

Beyonce winner!

Very confused why all the Monsters ran in here to drag when this is literally more than what Gaga pulled coming off her repeak with Stupid Love.

like???

are these filtered or unfiltered?

Great US numbers. Ehhh WW numbers.

Posted

The numbers are ok, she should've released in Friday tho, it'd probably have bigger numbers.

You gaga fans are making a complete fool of yourselves. Should have sat there and ate your food. Like your fave didn’t leech on Ariana to save her flop of an era.

OT: Great numbers, the fact that she’s smashing like this 25 years in. My god :jonny6:
