Yeah but longer than 2 weeks it has always been bad.

 

I remember HIAM from Britney dropping a month and a week after the single and it TANKED after a few weeks.

 

Bey did the same with RTW, it arrived to late and the video was spectacular.

 

And that was 2011.

 

We don’t even have the patience for that BS in 2022. Especially from an artist that is so visual like Beyoncé.

Welp, you're right about one thing is how ironic it is for a mod to use nicknames such as "stupid flop" considering nicknames like that are considered trolling and warnable as far as I know because I've been warned before for doing just that.

 

But i'm not surprised to see a mod out of line here.

It's quite stable on Shazam ever since its release tho (in the #3-#5 range). Let's see. I just hope the Spotify numbers in the US stabilize/pick back up. Elsewhere, it's actually doing fine.

Im still really positively surprised by the stability in Germany on all platforms (Itunes, Spotify and AM). Never in a million years would I've expected BMS to get that positive reception here. We haven't supported a solo Bey song in more than a decade to be honest.

I’ve been obsessed with what she does for ages and I’m not sure what was she thinking with this release. It’s insipid, boring, not even in an ‘ok not the greatest song but can still bop to it’, nope, it gets annoying very easily as well. And I love house music. I don’t know why the stans are pretending there’s still a chance for this to rebound. Let’s just hope the album itself is better than this mess because for now it’s not looking cute. Her worst lead single by far

If u listen to BMS in the middle of a 80/90s House playlist that includes Rhythm is a dancer, Rhythm of the Night, Gypsy Woman, 100% Pure Love, Everybody Everybody, Show Me Love, etc., you see how seamlessly it fits in while still maintaining a modern twist to that is true to Bey. 
I get it's not for everyone, but to call it bad does it injustice. It's definitely different for Bey, that's for sure.
But if you don't like that's obviously fine to state.

Sis I literally STAN all those classics, it’s one of my favorite eras in music and this song has all the ingredients to be as good but it just doesn’t do it, at least for me. But I’m glad other people are enjoying it, I’m waiting for what’s coming next cause I’m sure the best has yet to come.

Maybe you need the visuals to dig the song more? Bey is quite amazing at visuals as we know, so that could maybe help. But maybe the bounce inclusion is just off-putting to you
