...Bey still did more on the global chart and this is too little of a difference on the counter for y'all to be so loud about it.

Gaga was coming off a 'career re-peak' and Beyoncé pulled those numbers after years of flopping according to you girls (not to mention Apple Music where BMS destroyed SL). It's kinda embarrassing for y'all and I fear it's not gonna get any better in the long run :skull:

Yes and Stupid Bomb was labeled the biggest flop of all times so how is it suddenly the standard for Beyoncé? :sistrens:

Break My Soul is lacking playlisting because of its mid-week release, right? And it still outdid Stupid Love without promo or music video to build hype? :rip: AFTER her supposed ASIB re-peak that supposedly wasn’t a one-off occurrence thanks to Bradley and white soccer moms? And Lady Arthouse stans still have the nerve to drive this thread to 33 pages?

Don’t y’all need to put some time into getting those microscopic Chromatica Tour legs to sell out?

Not on day one it wasn’t tho, it fell off fast (which this may do, we dunno yet)

You guys said the numbers were fine now you’ve switched. It was her lead after Shallow etc and this was Bey’s lead after The Gift :dies:

No, it's got a lot of playlisting. It's missing the 'New Music Fridays' playlists (which it'll hopefully be added to tomorrow), but on the whole the playlisting is really strong.

It is literally NOT lacking playlisting. In fact, Break My Soul's Tuesday release without all the New Music Friday playlists had a 100M playlist reach compared to Stupid Love's 75M playlist reach despite a Friday release and all the New Music Friday playlists

Upon further inspection, I fully expect BMS to leave the hot 100 after 10 weeks and fail to outstream The Man. It'll also be very impressive for Renaissance to chart for a whole year since these are all things some supposed bigger artists failed to do

Interesting, thanks for that. Should be pretty even considering BMS only had 20 hours of tracking.

BMS was released at midnight ET, that's the standard for big releases (it was the same for Stupid Love, for example). Still good numbers :clap3:

It's an app called songstats but you can also see it on chartmetric:

Thanks! I thought it was an Spotify feature.

The argument for the past decade was that Beyonce needs a music video to garner interest in her music and career. Another cheap shot that never held any merit. Now yall are trying to move the goalpost again.

Your fave rolled out all the stops for her lead single and was met with so so reception. Hive had nothing to do with that. Now yall are using literally made up formulas trying to apply inflation to streams from 2020. Who else would be so desperate? :biblio:

Beyonce’s music videos weren’t just music videos, she pushed boundaries with both ST and Lemonade. A bit different than the shitty Stupid Love video we got.

These drags are getting… weird  I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone drag Bey for doing videos? It’s a bit random to use music videos to drag in way, shape or form.

I know stan wars are not meant to be the most constructive discussions, but this SL vs BMS war is on a whole nother level :deadbanana4:

Expected more based on the social media hype but I’ll wait to see how it fared on streaming services that haven’t released numbers.

Girl, this has been a thing. In 2018 Beyoncé fans decided they hated Lady Gaga for supposedly "taking Beyoncé leftovers" and ran with it for every Gaga move.

Then one monster here started with racist posts and started the zero tollerance policy.

Ever since then, it's a mess.

You guys keep running with this lie :deadbanana2:

90% of songs are released midnight ET

Unfiltered streams are only counted for certs, while filtered counts for the charts. Beyoncé won, learn how to lose, monster.

It seems like it is Monsters spreading hatred as per usual, they were the ones breaking their heels to post in here.

The way you literally decided to ignore every single stat I brought up to you and chose to digress to baseless off topic points :deadbanana4:

It wasn't backhanded, I literally started posting here replying to what other users said to bring up context because what they were saying was wrong. Bey's numbers are still good :clap3:

All you're doing is posting the same tired playlist charts while trying to argue why 180k more unfiltered streams means GaGas comeback single off the cusp of ASIB is "better" than Beys comeback song after 3 "flop" projects.

Those points aren't sticking as well as yall would like. Yall are the ones who started the argument. From the shady articles giving Gaga credit for House and literally shutting down the server to track Beyonces numbers. Very obnoxious and laughable.

It’s winning on Apple Music. There, other girls flopped hard.

Disastrous numbers after all that promo and playlist reach :ahh:

Now I don’t think anyone is trying to argue which song is better :skull: This is purely numbers discussion and the numbers aren’t… all that much different no matter how you try to spin it :rip:
