Yes it matters, it also matters that it didn’t have a video or a radio deal.

It didn’t have an ad with AM and it did better there too.

Not sure what video, radio and AM have to do with Spotify numbers when I'm pointing out the great push the song is receiving on Spotify?

Also pop acts usually don't do well on AM so no one is actually surprised at that. As I said though, good numbers for Bey :clap3:

Why do Bey stans think a music video (not available on Spotify) has more impact on Spotify streams than Spotify playlists?

Why are we counting unfiltered streams in a desperate attempt to edge out Beyonce? And so funny how yall just tried to downplay a 1 million gap as "minor" when these streams are a difference of 188k. Why did Gaga have such a large discrepancy for her unfiltered in the first place? :biblio:

Gaga already had better placement on streaming with the success of Shallow. On top of getting the cover of TTH after yall lied and denied that. So what are we missing here? Yall primed Chromatica as a huge comeback and it wasn't that.

The "Stupid Love" comparisons are so sad especially given that the flop single had New Music Friday exposure, released on a Friday alongside a music video; ALL of which was promoted well before the actual release

NOW LETS COMPARE...

"BREAK MY SOUL" being announced just hours before its release on an Instagram bio on a Tuesday... now chile

It's actually worse that the Little Monsters are trying to compare because it just goes to show how much the demand for Gaga has gone down. All that promo and exposure and Beyonce pulls more numbers in the same time without even a quarter of that exposure. Oopsie daisies. Time to go back to the seething board. :hippo:

Are yall taking 1 million less of a payout? You think Bezos or Elon are happy about paying 1 million in taxes? Are yall discounting your fave selling 1 million albums? How are we quantifying the difference as "minor"? And whose comparing these songs? Bey is literally in a league of her own. 25 years vs 12. Hello!?

Not to mention it wiped the floor with the latter on Apple Music.

Stop embarrassing yourselves please, one of these songs is going to be a legit hit and it's NOT Stupid Love :deadbanana2:

Why is it being compared with Stupid Love? This song will have longevity and the debut is decent especially since it's not a Friday release.

Posted

why keep on comparing artists¿?

I mean... for Bey standards... its a great result.

be happy for her (or dont)

But her last song has 10M streams and has been out for months.... so +5M in the first day is a good result.

Spotify charts only counted a maximum of 10 streams per user per day when Stupid Love debuted compared to 20 streams per user per day now - which also explains why the unfiltered/filtered ratio is substantially bigger for Stupid Love compared to Break My Love.

This doesn't really make sense especially considering Beyoncé's Tuesday release without all the New Music Friday playlists had a 100M playlist reach compared to Gaga's Friday release with all the New Music Friday playlists had a 75M playlist reach

The argument for the past decade was that Beyonce needs a music video to garner interest in her music and career. Another cheap shot that never held any merit. Now yall are trying to move the goalpost again.

Your fave rolled out all the stops for her lead single and was met with so so reception. Hive had nothing to do with that. Now yall are using literally made up formulas trying to apply inflation to streams from 2020. Who else would be so desperate? :biblio:

So why doesn't this logic and ridiculous formula apply to GaGas 2022 singles?

Again, your fave was already primed for bigger success with SL due to her success with Shallow. Yall literally bragged on this everyday. Your fave got the TTH cover and #1 position. And now yall are mad that yall literally jumped the gun in unnecessarily comparing SL to BMS and have to run to unfiltered streams and hypotheticals to argue relevance.

Which Gaga's 2022 singles? Hold My Hand? That song has been dragged to hell and back by atrl with dozens of threads with 30+ pages :deadbanana4:

Hold My Hand already outperformed basically every other soundtrack single released in recent times besides Gaga's own Shallow and Billie's No Time To Die, not to mention you're comparing a random soundtrack single which debuted with abysmal playlist reach (7M) to the lead single to a highly anticipated studio album after 6 years of hype with massive playlist reach (100M) :toofunny2:

However, I was just bringing up some context. As I've said multiple times already, Bey's numbers are good so congrats to her :clap3:

Gaga was coming off a 'career re-peak' and Beyoncé pulled those numbers after years of flopping according to you girls (not to mention Apple Music where BMS destroyed SL). It's kinda embarrassing for y'all and I fear it's not gonna get any better in the long run :skull:

Not yall constantly trying to imply the system is against Gaga. Gaga uses a combination of factors to bolster her relevancy and never skips out on being seen. Literally all her peers have taken a break in the last 5 years except her. She's no stranger to TTH and extensive playlisting. Sometimes the budget and proganda allows for more or less. That's really all there is to it.

But thank you for congratulating Bey whilst being backhanded. But yall really should be embarassed with how yall got dragged in here. :biblio:

isn't  MV a more attractive way of listening to that song instead of just audio so it might acutaly decrease the audio streams...refute my argument now
