It's not really hard for American artists to sell music in France. Beyonce's underperformance is tragic.  

But this doesn't reflect on their albums chart. Spain is far more inclusive when it comes to album consumption. Maybe consider giving these countries a visit and see in which you'll get on better as an English speaker

Gaga streaming numbers in France for SL is tragic too. But you are saying that top25 is very impressive now which is not. Both flopped.

You have been going on about Apple since last night. It’s embarrassing. SL got dragged because she came off ASIB and the success didn’t cross over. Expectations were high and well it didn’t come close and showed it was a one off success. She set herself up for a big era but it didn’t happen.

If I remember correctly, Chromatica was suppose to be a smash comeback after Joanne got mixed reception and was outsold by Lemonade, Views, Anti and 25. Yall were putting down Katy Perry for her Witness era in 2017. Then Gaga got the chance of a lifetime by filling in for Bey during Coachella and the new director for ASIB signed her and Bradley Cooper on to do the movie. 

 

Gaga had alot more hype and anticipation coming off the back of her Oscar win and her streaming catalog was totally revamped with Shallow. And although covid is a factor for 2020,  that's not really an excuse as to why it couldn't make it a year on the BBHot 200. That's the truth. 

 

LGaga stans seriously have some sort of obsessive complex towards Beyonce. Literally attack her everyday over Telephone. Then when Beyonce proves she's a household name on her own, yall literally can't take it. I've never seen such vitriol to the point where other fanbases who don't even like Bey have had to call it out.
