This is Beyonce—the greatest, the most influential artist of all time, the female Michael Jackson dubbed by many! She should best all with such constant demand even if she took a 10 year break. Once again, you’re moving the goalpost when it comes to this woman.

The Beyhive created the narrative that Beyonce is the GOAT. So now I expect GOAT like slayage.

Whoever said Bey was the female Michael Jackson? These little monsters don't ever get tired of lying. I believe that's something they got from someone they actually look up to.

Break My Soul still outdid Stupid Love by 25%. Bey still won.

Take the L and go.

TRAGIC :bibliahh:

OT: Not <2 M in the US :ahh: And it's already free falling on Apple Music :bibliahh:

Is it free falling in Apple Music in Chromatica? Because Break My Soul is #3 for me.

This is such a TRAGIC number. I thought this was supposed to be her comeback.

Anyway Easy on Me debuted with 17M++ and This Love alone debuted with 4M++.

Stop bringing Adele into this conversation because as a Hive member, she would not approve.

Adele is an anomaly, and that is something you all should know by now.

Break My Soul still outstreamed Stupid Love on day one.

Take the L, monster.

You’re here to act native and be a contrarian, and I refuse to play your game.

The fact is, Beyoncé’s god complex has been her biggest downfall. When she doesn’t live up to the “King B” status, it is easier to drag her. That is a fact.

You’re acting like she’s Mariah and coming off of 4-5 flop studio albums. Her last album was a AOTY nominee, hurrahed by many, the most praised in her 25-year long career according to you all, and it accompanied a massive tour. So let’s not act like there wasn’t much anticipation for Beyonce. Comparing “the queen” to Gaga is child’s play.

So by your logic, Stupid Love did better than Break My Soul. Is that what you're trying to say?

4 hours ago, Dreajae said:

Adele doesn't even have the vocal ability to sing her own songs. Hence why she can't show up on that stage to SING after 12 years of a career.

Beyonce can do Adele’s songs no question. Could Adele do Beyonce's? And none of that subjective "tone", "soul" and "emotion" b.s applies here. Can she or can she not

Now, sis. It's monsters we're dragging, not Adele.

Break My Soul still did 5M+ and that's something they won't be able to change. EVER.

Expressions are suppose to make sense in the context of the conversation.

OT: Top 2 and she ain't #1

I told you in order to close that conversation, if it can help you think Bey is a flop, go right ahead.

OT : great numbers for The Queen.

No one cares what you've seen. Such comparisons are dumb.

The number of premium subscribers has grown from 130 million in Q1 2020 to 182 million in Q1 2022.

Active monthly users: Q1 2020: 286 million Q1 2022: 418 million (+46%)

And there are lots of articles stating the number of people streaming new music has decreased as well.

Bey still won.

BMH literally outdebuted in every country bar the US, where it matched it :deadbanana:

That's not even remotely true. You simply cherry-picked some countries.

Spain:
SL #58 BSM #80

Finland:
SL #8  BMS#51

Israel:

SL #4, BMS #15

Poland:
SL #4  BMS N/A

The Czech Republic:

SL #10 BMS #119

Oop!!! The truths are coming out. :clap3:

*not according to just us, Lemonade is indeed her most acclaimed album ever.

OT : Great numbers for the Queen (btw this is just to avoid a WP, as it is my opinion on the thread, for wtver reason it seems to be taunting some)

This is just dumb. This is like saying that Movie A outgrossed Movie B from two decades ago without adjusting for inflation.

SL has more top 10 placements around the world. It would have done more streams in 2022 (close to 6M if you take into account the growth in active monthly users).

Male artists who do not rely on a big fanbase for securing big streaming numbers will obviously be less affected by leaks.

:bibliahh:

Lil Nas X is one of the biggest acts of the past few years, he also happens to be black and gay, which in the music biz isn't something that would help you build bridges yet he had his lead single leaked prior to the date he'd set for release and it did numbers, then his album did the same and it still pulled numbers. Why did certain someone that also had her song leaked couldn't do the same? How is the excuse working for her but not for Nas? Enlighten us a bit, since y'all love to excuse your fave.

Break My Soul still outstreamed by 25% and it reached #3 in Apple Music, while the other couldn't even crack the top 40 and charted in the Hot 100 for ten weeks, after debuting at #5 and freefalling.

Stop lying. Stupid Love wouldn't have outstreamed Break My Soul in a market where people are streaming old music.

Stop bringing the growth in active monthly users.

South Africa

BMH #1

SL #22

Netherlands

BMH #11

SL - Out of the top 50

France

BMH #25

SL - Out of the top 50

United Arab Emirates

BMH #6

SL - Out of the top 50

Portugal

BMH - #8

SL - #30

Switzerland

BMH - #13

I omitted the smaller markets from my original post but if you wanna brag a #58 placement in Spain then be my guest.

BMH outdebuted in France, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, the UK, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, AU/NZ, Canada, Brazil, et cetera. All larger markets than Czechia and Poland.

Oh btw BMH outdebuted in Israel too :toofunny3:
