Great debut :clap3: Hope it stabilizes and becomes a summer smasha.

26 pages though? The secondhand embarrassment is real. Some of you will never grow up, all bases :deadbanana4:

And has a pitiful 62M streams on Spotify after 11 years :deadbanana::ahh:

At least it is still #1 solo, something that your fave has never had since 2008.

OT: Excited for second day number :toofunny3:

She has a solo single that spent more weeks at #1 than all of Britney's #1s combined and ranked at #1 on the YEC, I think she's fine! Looks like someone's still salty over 4 DECIMATING Femme Fatale :deadbanana2:

Great, that's what we Beyhive expected. A Swifty made us a breakdown of all her positions ww and predicted around 5M. :clap3:

Good to have her back.

26 pages though, HA!!

Beloved, why are you here? Or in any Beyoncé thread? If there's one thing I've ascertained over the years, you don't like her. Do you like warning points that much?

These are absolutely terrible numbers. There's no way to sugarcoat them. Stupid Love leaked long time before the official release, so a lot of fans, including myself, didn't even bother to listen to in during the first day. The fact that she's barely outdoing SL numbers is 2022 is just tragic. The fact that she's way below Kate Bush's RUTH is even more tragic.

This is also not even close to being Beyonce's HIAM. HIAM was an event. It sold 411,000 copies during the first week, which was a record-breaking number back then. It also set the record for most radio plays during the first day. Beyonce cannot even dream about this level of hype.

All the clowning from liddos on this thread is emba:toofunny3:rrassing And then they have the nerve to ask why every fanbase that ever existed hates their guts :bibliahh:

Suddenly doing slightly better than SL is winning?

But ATRL had said SL was a disastrous flop? So what is the truth? ?

21% more than SL is far from being slightly better. Stop embarrassing your fanbase with your illiteracy.

Finally got some free time...

Okay... I don't think YouTube is a good indicative of Spotify streams for her any longer, especially because Latin America (sans Brazil) and Southest Asia are not exactly Beyoncé's stronger markets.

Let's do a little breakdown and predictions...

  Reveal hidden contents

Apple Music's top music markets are the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Mexico.

Important Spotify Markets in Latin America based on Apple Music's performance

Argentina: okay so here the song's sitting at #49 right now, two spots behind Harry's "Matilda". Matilda got 30K filtered streams there yesterday so I think Bey's doing between 25K - 38K filtered streams there (it could either miss the Argentinian Top 200 or chart in the 180's/190's...

Chile: the song's at #79 right now there, international pop songs tend to do a lot better on Apple Music than on Spotify here (per example, Taylor's Willow peaked at #6 on the overall AM chart but it barely debuted in the 140's)... I expect the song to not make it to the top 200 (<25K filtered streams)

Brazil: the song rose to the #1 spot of Apple Music Brazil very quick, Beyoncé's strongest Latin American market is Brazil precisely so I expect her to clear between 350K - 500K filtered streams (Top 5-10)

Mexico: song's at #62 on AM and the Mexican AM Chart is very similar to the Spotify Chart, I think she can land between #90-100 tomorrow (155K-170K streams)

Other countries: ~50K - 70K streams

Streams from Latin America: 600K - 800K

Important Spotify Markets in Anglo-America based on Apple Music's performance

Canada: song's sitting at #12 right now and non rap songs tend to do better on Spotify. I expect her to make it to the top 10. (140K - 200K streams)

United States:  she's at #4 on AM right now and the Spotify tracking day is over so she should have a Top 10 debut on Spotify locked since non-rap songs usually have a better performance on that platform. (1M - 1.5M streams)

Streams from Anglo America: 1.14M - 1.7M

Important Spotify Markets in Oceania based on Apple Music's performance

New Zealand: she's at #7 there on AM and the Top 10 of Spotify yesterday was almost the same as Apple Music's so... She will land another Top 10 debut there. (21K - 30K streams)

Australia: she's at #11 and should have no problem getting another top 10 debut on Spotify. (127K - 140K)

Streams from Oceania: 148K - 170K streams

Important Spotify Markets in Asia based on Apple Music's performance

Japan: she's not in the top 200 of AM there so I'm not expecting a Top 200 debut (<30K streams)

The Philippines: she's at 16, one spot above Lizzo and three spots above Taylor's All Too Well 10M... Lizzo was at #23 yesterday with ~145K streams while Taylor was at #49 with ~100K streams... Since Bey's above both on AM, I'm gonna say that she's debuting inside the top 20 of Spotify Philippines with 160K  - 180K streams.

Indonesia: she's not in the Top 200 of AM so I doubt she's gonna make it to the top 200 of Spotify (<45K streams)

India: for some reason she has two versions charting at #96 and at #120... That should be enough to make similar numbers to Ed's Perfect (#76 on AM India) so... (100K - 120K streams)

Other countries: 50K - 100K

Streams from Asia: 360K - 470K streams

Important Spotify Markets in Europe based on Apple Music's performance

Germany: she's at #18 and the performance between AM and Spotify there seems to be pretty even so I'm predicting (185K - 200K streams)

France: international songs do way better on Spotify than on AM there. Bey's #17 which is 6 spots above Harry's As It Was. AIW got 209K (#10 on Spotify) streams in France yesterday. Kate Bush is at #19 on AM now and was at #4 on Spotify yesterday with +255K streams. These comparisons lead me to believe that Bey's debuting in the Top 3 of Spotify France with 260K - 300K streams.

Spain: she's at #24 on AM there and international artists tend to do better on AM. I expect a Top 50 debut with 140K - 160K streams.

United Kingdom: she's at #1 on AM there. Kate did 591K streams on Spotify yesterday so I'm gonna predict 600K - 650K

Sweden: she's between Kate and Harry on AM right now, both were at #6 and #7 on Spotify yesterday respectively so I'm gonna go with 95K - 105K streams there, another Top 10 debut.

The Netherlands: she's at #1 on AM there and ahead of the #1 and #2 song on Spotify yesterday. I'm gonna predict 210K - 230K streams. #1 tomorrow.

Italy: she's at #24 there and the AM/Spotify relation seems to be pretty even for international songs. She should debut in the Top 20 with 145K - 180K streams.

Streams from other countries: 350K - 500K (since she also seems to be performing well in Norway/Belgium, etc)

European Streams: 1.98M - 2.17M

Streams from Africa are still low so I'm gonna go with 80K - 100K from the entire continent.

That brings us to a total of 4.3M - 5.4M filtered

Keep in mind that this is just my prediction... Anyways goodnight Hive:giraffe:

PD: after listening to it obsessedly, the song finally grew on me:jonny:

And a huge big up for @YellowRibbonwho gave us a breakdown countries by countries of what her streaming would be and actually being right!!! :clap3: There are some mad skilled Atrlers.

And sorry for me and some Hives cursing you out at first for setting her up with numbers too high. :lmao:

We were really expecting Savage Remix's numbers (2.38 M ww) or lower.

Nice surprise. :clap3:

Lol Beyoncé sold 617,000 copies of an entire album (Lemonade) in 3 days.

I don't know why you guys insert your faves in all B's threads. They are not peers, their careers are not comparable and they barely have anything in common.

To get to your point, leaks have barely no effect on songs in this day and age, 21% more for a woman that hasn't had a single solo streaming era yet and was considered over by Atrl is exceptional. And let's not forget she managed to enter AM top 5 in the US and in other strong markets around the world.

OT : anyway, hoping for longevity. :clap3:

Look at them clinging onto the leaking excuse for dear life now that everything else got disproven :rip: Harry's House/Montero also leaked but that didn't stop them from smashing! Let's not forget SL had a whole Shot on iPhone campaign with AM but stalled at #49 whereas HMH is effortlessly smashing. On Spotify it outdebuted SL in virtually every country with a Tuesday release, there's no "barely" :rip:

5.1M is insane for a 24 years old act, let alone one that boycotted herself MULTIPLE times on Spotify, anyone saying these numbers are not good is literally delusional, lol.

Glad to see the hive hasn't changed. Endless excuses.

24 years means she has an established fanbase. She's literally one of the biggest names in music. Her albums have all been on sootify for over 3 years.

What does leaking a month before have to do with first day stream numbers?

Montero by Lil Nas X leaked way before the release yet it did great numbers.

Male artists who do not rely on a big fanbase for securing big streaming numbers will obviously be less affected by leaks.

6 whole years of hype only to debut with Stupid Love numbers :lmao:

Oh so now she had 6 years hype? But I thought EIL, TG and BA showed her career was over.

At least it's very pleasing to see the whole first page of this thread full of monsters implying SL's numbers were abysmal. :clownny:

Nice one. :lmao:

OT : Bey doing 5M unfiltered with 20 hours and no video. Fantastic. :clap3:

Not 26 pages :deadbanana4:

The truth is these are impressive numbers for a person who debuted during the pre-digital era. She's done better than expected and there's nothing to drag here. Accepting that and moving on would be better than setting your fave (who debuted in the digital era, has the shorter career span, and did less numbers with more to her advantage) up to get lashed.

He's the biggest male star right now. Of course, he would have done great numbers. It peaked at #28, which is decent for a dance-pop song.

No, it literally has the same placing in the U.S and most other countries. You do realize that Spotify continues to grow every year, right? SL was released in early 2020.
