Who checks for Beyawnce these days apart from her stans?

She’s one of the most streamed female artists in the U.S. this year :rip: I guess millions of people?

Technically Folklore & WAP were the first major pop Culture Song/Moment of the 2020’s. Then Sour. Future nostalgia has the most longevity. Even tho its singles were blowing up before 2020, if that counts. 30 was massive but forgotten after 2 weeks? so I would give it to them all. Beyoncé still gonna be a moment, but I don’t think her comeback will be bigger then Taylor or Adele

Beyoncé will have her moment and coexist alongside everyone else like she’s done for 25 years.

folklore and Olivia came out of nowhere with Driver License/Sour are big moments already.

For Beyonce, i dont know if she can even create a moment as big as Kate Bush resurgence but maybe she still got it in her and surprise us again

Why are people mentioning Sour and Future Nostalgia? They were just your typical successful pop album/era. Neither of them had the cultural event of say Lemonade for example.

Basic pop album to dance to > cultural impact

You’d think this site would’ve learned by now not to underestimate Beyoncé, but… I guess not.

There’s been plenty of big moments though? Also I love Bey but as a European I’m gonna have to say that the release probably won’t be noticeable here outside of release day :skull: I’m probably not even gonna hear any of the songs on the radio

And? We’re talking about big moments. Both FN and Sour were big moments in 20s Music. You can argue all you want about Lemonade’s cultural significance but both FN and Sour were big pop culture moments in music.

Biggest albums of the decade:

#1 Future Nostalgia - 11,761,000

Adele, BTS, Drake, Post Malone and Taylor Swift have all released at least one album and all have failed to match FN. There is no bigger era this decade so far.

Get em Jade.

And I thought we all have moved on from the general fallacy of peaks are better than longevity.
