if someone I knew and was close too got trampled to death I would be sad about it. but if that SAME elephant pulls back up and does it again ***** I'm laughing

That's... not funny at all, but to each of their own. Maybe because I went through a recent loss and seeing how horrible their family had to deal with funeral expensses (they are from a very poor family) and how  tough that experience was, I immediately felt empathy and compassion to this woman and her family. Especially because her type of story is so out of the ordinary, that shouldn't invite even more mockery to an already painful experience.

Elephants are incredibly intelligent and empathetic creatures. Their instincts aren't typically to attack something once it's already injured or dead. Whilst they can attack unprovoked, it's notable that this Elephant attacked the same person twice, even after death, and allegedly travelled that distance to do it.

 

I'd presume there is some type of connection between them. That is, if you believe this story and they were the same elephant - which I don't buy. It's the Dailymail.
