Also many people who criticise Italian food go in with the wrong expectations. If you go in expecting heavily spiced sauces or lots of concentrated flavour combinations, then you're going to be disappointed. Italian food depends on the quality of its ingredients and the use of simplicity.

USA at #13 makes this list completely invalid

Clearly you are missing out on some great food.

What does american cuisine have to offer that puts it above a ton of asian and middle eastern countries?

romania and croatia being so high when I know they don't use seasoning :deadbanana:

UK missing from the list as it should.

Asian countries should be higher especially Thai and Vietnam. :foxaylove2:I think the US is on there because it's a melting pot of cultures from all over the world: Tex-Mex, Soul food, American BBQ, Viet-Cajun, just a mix of cultures.

When the food is so great….this seems natural

(also the US is a car centric wasteland so people don’t walk anywhere…please invade us…I want new management.)

I wouldn’t put it above those countries per se but most American foods that weren’t created by white people are pretty good (tex-mex, Chinese-American food, fried chicken, soul food etc).

There shouldn’t be any European countries in the top 10 tbh.

Japan & Mexico serving Excellence as they should :clap3:

While USA is hilariously high I do think lots of y’all forget about Southern food and just automatically think burgers

I may be biased but Mexico deserves a higher spot, our cuisine is vastly diverse and all the new dishes you discover within each state is madness.

USA 13? No.

French, Italian, Japanese and Mexican winning as they should :clap3:

When you say seasoning, what are you referring to? Cause I'm sure they'll use some form of seasoning at least

Why not? France and Italy have some of the best food in the world. Modern Danish cuisine is widely acclaimed.

Brazil being outside of the top 10 :deadvision:

US being anywhere near Brazil :deadvision:
