Early predictions put RUTH at #1 for sales and streams yet that's still not enough to go #1 on Hot 100 thanks to radio.

i think tth is for new songs that have been dropped recently only, isnt it?

Not when some songs have been on there for months :rip:

This is clearly fits as it’s smashing so should be included.

i mean there is a clear difference of a song that was a major hit that was released 1 year ago and is still charting from a song that was released decades ago and is currently experiencing its peak audience

Yeah but that song that was released decades ago is now #1 on Spotify globally and has been Top 2 for days making it now “today’s top hit” and more of a hit than other flop songs that have been included.

It would be different if it was a small bump and free fall but it’s been over a week now with no sign of it leaving the Top 10 soon so it fits.

TTH is a label thing. It doesnt reflect the charts position per se.

Not it going UP. :jonny6:

It's clearly more than just a viral thing. There's genuinely organic interest in the song because it's so good.
