It’s cool to witness how songs can be timeless and thats what we are witnessing with “Running Up that Hill”. I have never heard this song and don’t know anything about Kate Bush.

Praise the lorde for moments such as these where the geepee can be education on classiques. Kim Petras just released a cover too. She served.

It’s what Kate deserves for serving not only an outstanding album opener but a flawless, cohesive, unique and ahead of its time body of work; she better receive a Top 5 all around the world

ABSOLUTELY.  the Meg Myers cover is so great too

Agreed there. Both Kate's and Meg's versions rule.

Is there a reason why US and UK have their own metrics and then the rest of the countries fall into a WW global metric?
Genuinely asking, I didn't know this was like this!

Anyways, I hope she gets the WW 1st place as well, she's a literal legend.

Every country has their own Spotify chart like the US and UK, that user just didn’t post them

I’m gonna be pessimistic and say Kate’s team won’t re release this to allow it to rechart on the Hot 100

It doesn't need to be re-released to chart on the Hot 100. It will chart.

This is such a win for GOOD, non-industry plant'd, non-writing camp'd, non-TikTok'd music...

Just knowing a left-field, self-written and self-produced song like this can resonate this hard with the GP and find its way into the hands of a new generation 37 years later... it's truly something to see. Especially watching it happen for a female artist & one of my absolute faaaves who singlehandedly changed my view of music.

Kate was always kinda an unsung hero, not really known by the GP but referenced heavily by other artists, but now she finally gets to have her MOMENT. we love to see it. whew :heart2:
