The way Drag Race Philippines looks more like regular US seasons in terms of sets, lighting, etc. than Down Under (despite it having Ru and Michelle) goes to show that you definitely get what you pay for and they definitely spent some money on this season

I enjoyed the first episode! The queens were so fun and the dramaaa!

The talent show was meh but the runways were

I would’ve given Marina/Viñas the win but Minty is my fave so I’m not mad

Either one could’ve won the lipsync but Lady Morgana has more personality so she ultimately deserved to stay.

THE FIRST EP WAS SO FUN

First episode was a lot of fun, but camera work and editing need some improvement. This season has everything though: a good cast, fun personalities, drama and amazing runways. What's not to love?

Rooting for Brigiding and Marina so far, but there are a lot of fierce queens in this cast. That runway was amazing and almost everyone served. Corazon gives me Asia O'Hara with those cheap veneers but she's so shady in the confessionals, I live! 

 

I thought Prince was going to last longer, but Paolo was truly disgusted by those shoes lmao

good so far, but yes they need to invest in better camera and work on appropriate camera positioning because the closeups and the shakiness were distracting.

Agree with the comments about the camera work. They better step it up with a larger studio too for season 2!

 

The 2nd episode was fun! The dramaaaaa!

Most of the creations were meh but Viñas and Minty really stood out. Great lipsync from Turing too!
