Is there an Ariana void in the music industry?

Absolutely but I think it's because no other active mainstream artist is really a powerhouse vocalist right now. I crave this sound and I miss it so much.

Although Ariana's name is huge, I still feel like she hasn't had a MOMENT. Nothing impactful. She's just been the ride.

Why do some of you still push this narrative?

with the thank u, next era, she broke the following records:

  • the first solo artist ever to occupy the whole Top 3 on the Hot 100 (still second only after Drake, only female)
  • biggest weekly streaming debut for a pop album in the US (still holds the record)
  • most streamed single in a day and week (first thank u, next and then 7 rings)
  • 7r still remains the most streamed track in a week by a female globally
  • tu,n video broke the YouTube daily views record

not to mention the album spent multiple weeks at #1 and two singles spent a whole 15 weeks on top...

but sure, she has never had a "moment".

On top of the fact she basically spent an entire year in the hot 100 top 10 during her sophomore era with the lead single debuting with one of the highest digital sales numbers at the time.

You’re allowed to not like her but to say she has “no moments or presence” in the industry is a flat-out lie at this point. She’s been a force since 2014/2015 whether y’all like to admit it or not.
