Not really, especially because her album releases are usually so truncated nowadays. I'm fine with her being gone for a while anyways, I think she needs some time away and to find a new variation on her sound. 

 

 I don't really miss Taylor either but Taylor is very consistent about releasing, she's always back in 2-3 years and now with the re-recordings, she's been keeping pretty busy.

You guys are capping so hard. There’s no other powerful vocalist out there except Ariana and people do miss her pop presence. I see so many tweets about it everyday. This is her first big hiatus so we’ll see and even if she isn’t missed like Beyoncé or Taylor or Rihanna, people still go all out for her music.

Considering the lack of women in rap, she’s definitely one. But her sophomore album will tell us if she will cement this status or not.

Also, I feel like AG7 is a make or break moment for her. Positions disappointed many people, but the good thing is people are still "on ears" and giving her a chance to redeem herself. So... AG7 better be her best freaking album ever!

This makes no sense, no other MPG is occupying the space she is right now, she's the only who can actually sing & the only one really doing R&B\trap-pop the way she is.  

 

She's been gone for only a year, for any other artist this would be a normal break between albums. Maybe ask this question if she still hasn't released anything in 1-2 years
