NormaniReign Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Ariana is a talented queen but for some reason theres no void for her like other powerhouses like Taylor,Cardi,Beyonce(pre 2018) and Rihanna(back in 2013-2016). When these powerhouses are on haitus, you feel it, their presence is missed, theres extreme hunger for their returns. Do you feel like Ariana left a voild, do you miss her?
Devin Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Cardi a powerhouse? She is missed but her break was needed after releasing 3 years in a row. AG7 prob drop late 2022-2023.
GentleDance Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 No, no one is waiting for another TUNA/Positions rehash

Villanelle Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 No. Ariana is not an interesting artist and her music never brought anything new to the table.
Badgalbriel Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 I agree with you, I don't think anyone misses her like that
On The Bound Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 no there is more hype for OR2 than there is for AG7 but as long as the album is better than positions ill stream

Erreur2 La Nature Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 The examples are a bit messy lmao, Cardi B is not that big, Beyoncé hasn't had a hit in a veryyy long time and Taylor releases 36 albums every year but I get what you mean. You're not completely wrong.

Bosque Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 No, much like a Rihanna around GGGB/Rated R she’s in danger of being forgotten if she doesn’t release new hits soon. She’s not that established yet.
raven Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 (edited) Besides the fact that there's no other powerhouse vocalist hitmaker out there aside from Ariana right, she's only been gone for like a year so I'd hardly call this a hiatus yet Edited May 7, 2022 by raven
Zaynsus Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Since she's the only current MPG who can sing, yes, people miss their fave vocalist
genio Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 We as fans miss her presence a lot, but then again, she used to push out music non-stop and has been going through difficult times in the past few years, so her decision to take a step back and change her path is respected by us, more or less (not like we can do anything about it either way). I don't know if the GP or industry misses her like that now since she used to be present for a decade through and through.
JawBreaker Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 The thing is I do feel like there was a void right before position and then she announced it and it was a big deal even getting 1m likes on her tweet but then album came out... I still can't believe all that hype came to just a 174k debut But yeah now I dont see anyone missing her anymore. I do think its because of Doja, Dua and Olivia's presence tho

In that case why didn’t you include Billie in the OP?
Oxy Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Honestly no, cause she doesn’t dominate a whole calendar year of releases of single rollouts. She comes and slays the charts for 3 months then leaves.

perfectlover Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 it's been a blessing and a half without her yearly threat, if anything
