Loose prolly

but LAMB deserves since it's the best album

The Dutchess, but it was directly inspired by L.A.M.B. so it's only fair the title goes to that

I was weirdly unaware of Loose/Nelly Furtado as a kid and didn't know that was a big era until I joined ATRL

The Dutchess, followed by LAMB.

Loose was kinda local to the anglo-world. Loved that era though!

Loose. :alexz:

LAMB feels the most impactful since it brought some Japanese culture to the Western world. I’d say…

1. LAMB

2. The Duchess

3. Loose (still iconic though, but NF doesn’t have the name recognition that Fergie and Gwen have)

The #1 European album of 2007 with 2 #1 USA smashes "Say It Right" and "Promiscuous" that are currently among the top 5 daily streamed female songs of the 2000s :clap3:

Loose only because it had hits all over the world including spanish speaking countries! Some huge hits were for the US (Promiscuous, Say It Right) while some huge hits were for Europe (All Good Things Come To An End, Maneater) ….

L.A.M.B deserved though considering how it’s the best pop album of all time. Unfortunately it was poorly chosen singles. Not saying the singles were bad, but the deep cuts scream HITS!

Loose was a once-in-a-lifetime era and album that impacted the sound of the music industry for years to come, no wonder its currently experiencing a new wave of popularity since Nelly not being relevant is just not important in streaming era.

You guys always act like what is currently hot on steaming is reflective of what has “impact” at the time, or even what will be remembered in the long run. Songs go viral all the time, and one snapshot of what is trending doesn’t take away from what was actually remembered from the time from people who lived through these eras. For all we know The Duchess will be out steaming Loose in a year if one of the songs gets used in an ad or goes viral on tik tok. This whole new obsession with the quick and easy analysis is just bs. You need to think long term.

I feel like it's between LAMB and Loose, with the edge going to Loose. It quite literally shaped the sound other artists (like Britney Spears) chased. The Dutchess as an album feels forgotten besides the singles, but also an iconic era. Really the trinity of 2000s era pop!

Lamb > Dutches > Loose

Idk but I have all 3 of these masterpieces on a Apple Music playlist ???

LAMB easily

Loose era is actually the first bible of pop and a masterpiece if I do say so myself so that xx

It's between LAMB or Loose.

LAMB paved the way for the other two albuns. And visually speaking is far superior too

I think as albums,

LAMB > Loose > Dutchess

But as eras

Dutchess > Loose > LAMB

if that makes sense

Best album: LAMB

Best era: The Dutchess

I don’t really get the comparisons between Loose and the others.

Where I live its The Dutchess > Loose > LAMB

This is hard but I’ll say The Dutchess cause if Fergilicous, Glamorous and BGDC. LB and Clumsy are bonuses. That’s 5 smashes right there 3 of which are still remembered and 2 of which have gained popularity recently with viral TikTok’s and Jack Harlow ofc.

Second would have to be LAMB. HollaBack girl is still remembered, Rich Girl has cute viral moments. Luxurious gained controversy like 3 years ago lol and Cool is a bop

Loose is a great album with 2 monster hits but everything else kinda flopped.

Loose’s singles obviously have the best recurrent stats but the songs feel extremely faceless, so LAMB & The Duchess feel a lot more iconic

*4

All Good Things and Maneater were smash hits outside the US, especially in Europe.

Where is the "Why was Loose so massive in Europe?" thread when you need it?
