sis the swifties been making Adele threads

https://atrl.net/search/?q=adele&quick=1&search_in=titles

where are the daydreamers doing the taylor threads? :biblio:

Are you searching for the past 5 days? Why would daydreamers be making any threads not that it’s embarrassing? Not you of all people asking this question when you were commenting in every single one back when 30 was released. :deadbanana4:

Anyways, I’m not pressed with Adele. I can’t stand her fans that eat up the same **** she releases, and she’s apparently the only artist who gets a pass for it. Easy on me was literally a garbage ballad that they consistently streamed, trying to pretend it was good.

30 has outsold only 1 of Taylor's 9 albums.  Stick to the facts.

It easilly outsold her rereleases and all her albums sold without bundles. Not to mention having one of the biggest songs of the year, while Taylor haven't had a hit in what feels like a decade.

I expect OTH will start hiding behind Rihanna (if she releases music) and my biggest fear is it will backfire just like what happened to Katy and Adele :gaycat6:

The fact people expected Adele to repeat the highs of 21 and 25 boggles the mind. Why would anyone even think that would happen again  literal worms.

She explicitly said in multiple interviews that she didn’t want to put out singles/an album like Hello/25 again. I think people were getting a little silly and ahead of themselves with predictions and what not during release week. That said, the album is doing very well all things considered; it was literally the best selling album of last year. People are acting like it’s this huge bellyflop like Familia or something :deadbanana:

So?

Is charts all Swifties care about?

Well Adele fans certainly don’t care about quality music so what else is there to talk about? Poor charting, bad music with 25 & 30, what does she have?

lol.  The fact that Adele fans find re-recorded albums even comparable is testament that Adele just cannot compete with Taylor's studio albums.

Spoiler

It's because 30 is also a re-recording, they're keeping things fair at least.

Rerecordings that has the same amount of original songs as 30 itself might as well be comparable lol

Taylor can’t get a proper hit. I guess that’s why

taylor never gonna have a singles as big as adele’s so thats why

Because Adele ended their "music industry" argument, as she outperformed Taylor's latest eras. It's a simple answer really.

Because Adele is doing amazing with album and singles, while Taylors last organic single success has been years.

About the question of the OP, that's why.

Guess what, none of them stan Adele, as usual.

Adele is flopping and she's getting the standard treatment. She's not above getting dragged :bunny:

If anything, she's having it easier than all the pop girls since she's a non factor as a celebrity and no one really cares about her.

Didn't 30 sell like 3M units already? Isn't EOM the biggest song of the year?

If that's a flop then Everything Taylor released after 1989 flopped :cm:

Mostly because of frontloaded sales, it already left the Top 20 in her homecountry, Equals which was deemed a flop upon release is charting above 30 :deadvision:

Even with overshipment it would have been at #1.

didnt 30 had like double the amount of shipments compared to the #2?

No it's not, the album has been severely overshipped now most of physical copies are collecting dust. I doubt 30 will surpass folklore at this point considering both albums literally pull almost similar number in upcoming weeks :sistrens:

That is not true but I guess elementary math is not your strong suit.  Anyways, I'm sorry you find Adele's music comparable to the quality of the songs not good enough to make a 2012 album's original release.

Not really, SOUR pulled bigger units last year. It's the overshipping that payola Adele her way to #1 on IFPI. She's literally having million of unsold physical copies

It is at about 2 million units sold and EOM is about to fall behind Levitating and Save Your Tears.  Stay and Heat Waves will be bigger songs this year if they are not already.
