It's very possible. Romance did 30k from streams but that was with Senorita. Right now Bam Bam is doing well, Top 20 on Spotify, but streams are significantly lower overall. Her popularity overall was also probably higher back then. So no big hit, 2.5 years of popularity decline, lower streams overall, she might do a third of what she did last time which would be 10k. Romance did 54k pure, but that was 2.5 years ago when the market was bigger for pure sales and that included tour bundles and physical copies that hadn't shipped yet (before the rule change). And she was also coming off a huge smash in Senorita. So her doing a fifth of the amount wouldn't be out of the question. That's 11k. Those two added up are 21k.

Karol G also doesnt have smash hits Havana & Senorita in the US that should garner longterm interest in a artist

I thought 50k would be a given but after seeing the first day's US Spotify numbers, it's not surprising.

 

I hope they learned their lesson with Romance and won't release new singles too quickly because it's going to need longevity if they want the album to at least go Gold.

She still debuted with less streams than Karol G and ROSALIA (!!!!) so I'm not sure if that's even excuse. Hell, Bad Bunny is literally stomping. Latin music has been so huge lately.

Nnnn not you acting like Camila’s album having Latin influences made her flop, when Encanto by Latin artists is literally smashing for months  No one’s just interested with Camila’s record, period.
