From the get go, everyone knew Marina and LGD will be in the Top 4 because both are leagues above the other queens in terms of polishness. Then we have Marina who excels so much in performing. I think that she did a good job during the competition and although I personally would've chosen Marina, she had a good enough track record to warrant being top 2. Idk if there's any truth to her having family or connections to BBC which led to the prize money but if so, seeing Blu get pissed off that she didn't get that was so hilarious that it was worth it. I kind of have to wonder if she found out last minute that she was going to be on the show. Tia's ball looks were cohesive enough for me but overall there wasn't much that I would say is "signature" Tia. Her first runway look though is the exception. As for the Pterodactyl look, it was better than her original outfit but how much better can you possibly get short of coming out in a gigantic costume (ala Danny Beard and the Little Shop of Horrors in UK4). LGD has a good eye for fashion and is a capable designer so even though she probably had several of the looks made, I'm sure she had ideas in mind for them. Marina is a sample size and has a lot more to choose from than either of the giants on the season. lol. She also has a good eye for fashion (that one look from the ball not withstanding). Tia said that she used the same design team that one of the girls from season 1 used and I think they charged a bit too much to be honest for some of the looks.
