Marla Singer Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 How disgusting to use trans issues and Brianna's murder to score points against each other when her mother was there in person. Β **** Sunak AND Starmer. Sunak is worse in this instance, but Starmer has also been trying to make Labour more appealing to TERFs so he can't take he moral high ground here either. 3
Babydoll. Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 labour getting their jabs in at trans people is pathetic but expected for kid starver TBH! i am praying every day for the end of this bullshit culture war and for the safety and security of the girlies. Β and their manfesto will be bomproof from tory attacks because it will just be a bunch of tory-lite (or full blown tory) policies xx 2

John Slayne Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 (edited) the Labour manifesto is going to be 'tory bomb-proof' in the sense that it will just be the tory manifesto with Labour's name on itΒ Β the transphobia really turned me off, i can't vote as i'm not a citizen yet but i will be encouraging everyone living in safe Labour seats to vote third-party. in swing seats it will be important to beat tories of course Edited February 25, 2024 by John Slayne
Vermillion Posted March 19, 2024 Posted March 19, 2024 Is the Tories entire platform trans people? Like, I'm across the pond with much more government problems, but I still wonderβ¦β¦ Β Β
Jack! Posted March 26, 2024 Posted March 26, 2024 The SNP had the most progressive opinions and roadmaps on and for trans rights that the general public and the majority of Holyrood even supported, but the little men who were/are syndromic of themselves were happy to push out a female leader on pretences they've yet to be able to prove, halt actual progression in a country that continually prides itself on it's devolution from Westminster, and allowed the party to become a drove of itself. Meaning in this general election SNP seats in Westminster are the most up in the air they've ever been. Β The politics of this country never ceases to amaze me. 2

Fevesy Posted April 26, 2024 Posted April 26, 2024 (edited) I think this week is the basically the end of the SNP party.Β Β Don't see how Humza/SNP will remain in power and if we go to elections then Labour will easily curb stomp them with all the recent scandals in the party and specifically Nicola's husband, it's sad that we are going back to the Tories or the red Tories in ScotlandΒ Β Edited April 26, 2024 by Fevesy
John Slayne Posted April 30, 2024 Posted April 30, 2024 Tories ran the country into the ground and now Rishi complains that people are depressed and taking time off work? you couldn't make this up. the sad thing is that millions of people will STILL vote for them despite Tories having open contempt for anyone working class.

I have a last minute desire to exercise my civic rights but I have no idea what's going on (Assuming you're in London) You have 3 different votes. One for the mayor, one for your local assembly member and one for a London wide assembly member. Β London wide is essentially a proportionally representative vote, so vote for whoever you like (even if they're a tiny irrelevant party)! Β Local assembly members are currently all either Tory or Labour so probably best to stick to one or the other. Β The Mayoral vote used to be first and second preference, but now since the Tories changed the rules, we only get to vote for one person. Sadiq is most likely going to win. Susan Hall is the crazy Tory candidate who's a climate change denier and pro-Trump. I don't know much about the other candidates but the Green Party candidate seems ok.
