I’ve mixed feelings towards the larger phone as the pro max is heavy and difficult to use with single hand. Is the keyboard the only downside for you?

Is the keyboard the only downside for you? Oh if you don't like the bigger phone then you might be a fan of the 15 Pro. Personally I don't see a big difference between the regular 15 and the Pro though so it might be worth checking out the 15 to save some money. The keyboard is the main downside to me but again I preferred the bigger phone. 2
Starshine Posted February 6 Posted February 6 After using the Vision Pro for the past 4 days, the longest being a 7 hour session connected to an outlet... I do really think this is where the future is headed (once they reduce the weight and size). There's unparalleled experiences that make me feel like I'm in a sci-fi and also many downfalls that bring me back to reality like the keyboard, weight, FOV, app ecosystem. My phone and Mac feel like ancient tech compared to this, like I couldn't really gaf about the next iPhone update because it will never compare to what I experience on the VP. I'm surprised they never called Niantic. This ad would actually be possible in the future iterations if they added 5G/GPS. I see this more of a iPad/Mac replacement rather than the next iPhone. Vision Pro = iPad/Mac Vision as glasses = the next iPhone Unfortunately I'm returning because it's $4k and I'd rather wait for a 2nd or 3rd gen. It was a cute test trial. 4
PopMusicJunkie Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I just got my Apple Vision Pro today and immediately turned into iJustine: everything was just so cool!!! wasn’t a fan of other VR headsets but AVP is one that fits my wants and needs. I primarily will be using mine for streaming and basic browsing purposes while at home. The immersive experience with Alicia Keys is so good and I want more of these featuring other artists. But I also agree with the many downfalls that @Starshine mentioned. Apple can kiss my ass with that dinosaur experience. It starts off cute, I saw that T-Rex and double clicked. 2

The scream I scrumpt when that big ***** starting approaching me. I’m gonna return mine for now, but may end up buying it again and doing a refitting in a couple months because apparently the FOV becomes so much better at like a size 21. The 1.1 update seemed to improve a lot of things like Persona and I’ll wait for more things to come. 1

thatsmydemi Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Planning on buying an iPad this summer. Any recommendations? I've seen they are about to announce a new iPad Pro and a new gen of iPad Air? I don't need anything that good because I'm only gonna use it for some basic stuff at my job and study. Any real difference between gen 9 and gen 10?
Crashed Posted May 7 Posted May 7 The new iPad models aren't compatible with Apple Pencil 2. You either must buy the new Apple Pencil Pro or the Pencil USB-C

Any real difference between gen 9 and gen 10? I would recommend you to go for gen 10, now that it's got a price cut. Just don't buy the 64GB version. From my experience with my Air it's just not enough. iPadOS already takes like 15 GB and with some apps, games and photos the storage becomes full very fast Edited May 7 by Crashed 1

I don't plan on using it for photos or games tbh. Just some docs, notes and searching online (kinda like a mini laptop).

nasa Posted May 7 Posted May 7 iPhone nerds I need y'all help My friend bought a 15 Pro Max and apparently it's an asian version or sumn and she can't turn off the camera shutter sound She's about to cry, does anyone know if there's a fix to it? She's not in Asia if that helps
Batsy Armada Posted May 7 Posted May 7 I might invest in an iPad Air. It'll be nice to have something a little bit bigger to travel with than my phone without having to carry my laptop with me, since I'll be planning to do more of that in the foreseeable future. I tend to like having top of the line merchandise, as it relates to technology, but I'd be paying for a lot of features I'd never use with that iPad Pro. I think a 13-inch iPad Air will suit my realistic needs quite well.

See if you can find the older M2 12.9 inch Ipad pro, older ipad pros might get discounts. it has face id, better display, pro motion, better speakers. Edited May 7 by DONTYELLATME

They'll just let their own bake in the oven for now and come with something that runs on device. Our data and privacy are the biggest concerns there.
