I get why it was a mega flop but I honestly think this could've smashed a few years ago when the DCEU brand wasn't as tarnished, less Ezra media baggage etc. Maybe @GraceRandolph was right! @The Witch @Sexyzinger @Walk_Away21 Hm I’ll give it a pirated stream at some point.

Kinda like the barbie praise, people just want to fit in
loveisdead9582 Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 I’ve been sick in bed all week so I finally gave it a real watch. It wasn’t terrible. Had this been released a few years earlier, it might have done much better. There was a good amount of nostalgia and fan service. The humor was there but it didn’t completely derail the movie like other hero movies have done and suffered for recently. My biggest issue is this: if you’re going to rehash something that has been done already (recently at that) you have to give it a unique spin on things. That’s where this one failed. Ezra Miller dramatics aside, the cast did a good job. This was the first film where I actually enjoyed Ezra’s flash - maybe because there were two of them. It was great seeing Michael Keaton back in the Batman suit. He was easily the savior of this film. Sasha did an okay job as Supergirl as well. Seeing George Clooney and Nic Cage as well as other actors/actresses make appearances was great. It’s been done better though in various areas through various mediums. The Flashpoint Paradox animated film did the whole thing a bit more faithfully to the comics. We got Red Sun supergirl in Supergirl on the CW. This film added in elements of Crisis On Infinite earths and tbh certain elements of the arrowverse version were done better. We saw the Justice league cartoon do some of these storylines as well. tl;dr it was good if you aren’t a hard core fan or if you have an extra couple of hours to watch something. They waited way too long to release it though.
