Nebur Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 I'm watching the Kdrama Tomorrow I'm going for ep 7 and I love this kdrama the bad thing that has made me cry almost every episode but WELL WORTH IT is a little gem Their message, the topics they play reach you
Nebur Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 I just finished episode 13 of Tomorrow, the one about comfort women. I destroyed this episode I'm not well emotionally
DanyelP23 Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 I finished watching "Lovers of the red sky". It's one of those shows whose premise is kinda basic but at the same time, you can't stop from watching. The majority of characters are really likeable but Ahn Hyo Seop takes the cake again for me. I swear he has the nicest voice ever to listen to while he speaks.I'm glad he had a 1-2-3 punch of viewership hits with Dr. Romantic 2 -> Lovers of the Red Sky -> Business Proposal.
DanyelP23 Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 (edited) I started watching "Sweet Home". Is Song Kang's character supposed to be a loser/incel who doesn't know how to form sentences and has lost his voice? I know his character is hinted at having trauma due to what is hinted about his parents, but to me it feels like he simply just doesn't ennunciate properly?! Edited June 4, 2022 by DanyelP23
hallucinate Posted June 12, 2022 Posted June 12, 2022 finally had time to start yumi’s cells s2 i love how the animations are mixed in with the rest of the show, they truly steal the show for me
Antisocialites Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 Why Her? is so entertaining and thrilling but soooo messy with the assault/abuse/rape storylines.
hallucinate Posted July 2, 2022 Posted July 2, 2022 (edited) is anyone else watching yumi's cells 2 atm? the season started great but it's starting to disappoint me a little bit Edited July 2, 2022 by hallucinate also can we revive this thread pls

The show is a mixture of genres but mainly mystery and comedy with romance and a fantasy element sprinkled in. The leads (Moon Ga Young - Tempted, True Beauty and Yeo Jin Goo - Beyond Evil, Crowned Clown, Hotel del Luna) are both delivering great, complex performances. On top of that, EVERYONE in the supporting cast is serving amazing performances. I love how the show manages to subvert and make fun of certain tropes while highlighting societal issues like domestic abuse and mistrust of the police/justice system. Family relations and how different they can be from person to person are also explored quite beautifully. For everyone that likes quirky stuff, loves a good mystery and have great taste in general, well acted shows and likes to have a kii, I recommend this wholeheartedly! Currently there are 8 out of 16 episodes available - 2 eps release each Monday/Tuesday. The show is in select countries on Disney+ but google and k i s s @ s s 1 a n / d r @ m @ c 0 0 l is your friend

I can definitely understand why it's going viral. It's a well made show, but it's a bit basic/boring for my tastes. With that being said, the male lead is very hot and kind, so my interested in perked. It's kinda funny cause the lead actress made sure that Seo Yea Ji can kiss goodbye her chances at winning a Best Actress Baeksang award for Eve. That male and female lawyer that are colleagues with Attorney Woo need to *** already. The tension between them is too hot. - Onto another drama, Link:Eat, Love, Kill needs to serve a sex scene or summn for the main couple in the last episode. They gave us a great kissing scene and then dipped.

DanyelP23 Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 slight extraordinary attorney woo spoilers bellow: Chile I looked on dramalist and Attorney Woo’s male lawyer boss is also listed as a lead. I wonder if they’ll try to make him a romantic option. Ughh all 3 male lawyers are so hot. I kinda got annoyed they made the lesbian looking friend appear interested in that cute twink lawyer. He belongs to the other female attorney that was colleagues in college with Attorney Woo. I watched 4 eps by now, and I’m thinking of watching the other 2 tomorrow. The writers better let Ms Woo get sum **** (implied, off screen) and not make her a romanceless *special* character.
DanyelP23 Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 I've given into Extraordinary Attorney Woo and binged all episodes. It's a very intelligent show after I gave some thought. I had some prejudice against it since I don't really enjoy 'low stakes' type of shows (except of course if it's a BL, in that case I am ALLERGIC to misery porn). I can't decide if I should try in the meantime to watch something else with the male lead (Kang Tae Oh) or to start 'Alchemy of Souls'. For some reasons I thought it was quality flop but the MyDramaList, twitter and tiktok girlies keep hyping it up. The ML there was also getting on my nerves when I watched Extraordinary You. Has anyone here watched it. Speaking of Kang Tae Oh, for being only 27, he has such a mature aura about himself - idk if it's just his role in EAW but he's such a MAN. Fantagio really knows how to make visuals Also, how do we make this thread gain more popularity? The K-Pop thread gets like 10-15 pages a day, but this one moves slower than a snail.
Gottasadae Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 (edited) I'm watching Reply 1988 because everyone praising it on MDL. Well, I liked first episodes but it's kinda repetitive and very long. An hour and a half per episode is way too much. Edited July 17, 2022 by Gottasadae

Nebur Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 woo an extraordinary lawyer I just finished episode 3 and 4 premiered on netflix in my country and I'm still obsessed with this series
Toxicity. Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 Extraordinary Lawyer is my fave kdrama of the year so far so cute
DanyelP23 Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 So I bingewatched Happiness... Now THIS IS HOW YOU CLEAR A BITXCH! It outsold All of us are dead, Squid Game & Sweet Home by doing the exact opposite of what these shows were doingIt also helped that the main leads were engaging and likeable, not every post-apocalyptic-esque show has that to their credit.
