Andy Murray to retire later this year: https://www.espn.com/tennis/story/_/id/39615831/andy-murray-unlikely-play-summer-wants-paris-olympics-spot

That 2029 Tennis Hall of Fame ceremony is going to be a hot ticket, with Rafa and Andy being inducted.

I feel bad for Murray but it was obvious retirement was looming. I was kinda hoping he’d have one more great tournament left in him.

To be honest, as a fan of Murray, I thought he should have went through with his retirement plans after the 2019 Australian Open. I have no idea why he changed his mind and played another 5 years after that.

This retirement is a much happier ending than if he had done it in 2019. The fact that he managed to come back like that with a metal hip, win a title and play some good tennis is an incredible victory in itself. I wish others like Del Potro had that chance.

ATP including Rune in things is so annoying. As with Kyrgios, rewarding bad behavior.

She'll have to go down to the local pickleball public court for that

What pisses me off the most in this whole Halep scandal is how Mouratoglou managed to get away unscathed from it, when he and his academy were directly involved in the doping.
