American men's semifinalists:

ben shelton - us 23

tommy paul - aus 23

frances tiafoe - us 22

john isner - wimbledon 18

sam querrey - wimbledon 17

bleak. hopefully shelton being just 20 and making both a quarter and a semi in the same year means he'll be a legitimate contender in the future.

with these talks about merging the atp and wta, im scared they are doing so to appeal to the saudis down the line. ugh.

I’m not a huge fan of the tours going to China at this time of the year. I’d much rather alternate between Indian Wells (or whatever this turns into when Larry Ellison sells it) on odd years and Rome/French Open on even years in late September/early October after the US Open. It would keep me interested in tennis between the US Open and the ATP/WTA Finals.

If they want to do China, it should be in late February/early March.

wait this would eat :jonny:

i feel like tennis loses a lot of momentum among casual fans after the US open anyways so this could a lot better in keeping it up. only concern would be injuries, people are already torn up at the end of the summer as it is

What's low is being a disgusting cheater like Halep.

Shocked that Simona got a longer ban than Maria, especially because she was insisting she had evidence that proved contamination. If it holds, she may as well retire because coming back at 35 after not playing professionally for 4 years would be a mess.
