keerbyriri Posted January 4 Posted January 4 garcelle is embarrassing. attacking dorit for using the vernacular that the housewives have been using for over a decade now (surprisingly bravo backed this up with the flashbacks), she obviously just doesn't like her and has chosen her as the target of the season. utilising identity politics and a topic which shuts down all actual discussion (dorit cannot make a rebuttal or defend herself without proving garcelle's claim to be correct) so all dorit can really do is just be quiet, apologise, and take it. best thing to come out of the whole thing was dorit saying 'we'll we're all privileged here' leading to garcelle's shocking relevatory moment of self awareness at the fact that she's a multimillionaire on a TV show for her immense wealth sitting across from another multimillionaire and pointing fingers as to who's more privileged (a dead end argument considering the context) 1 4

The hate she’s gotten is so crazy just because she’s not afraid to address topics that can be uncomfortable to watch. It just seems like she can use the Housewives format to tug Dorits wig in a confessional. There was no point in that sit down. We all know Dorit is a Karen, and that’s what makes her so wild to watch. We get it and Dorit will never not be defensive and daft. Ever. No one wanted to see another season of Whitney and heather fighting over nothing, Meredith spreading fake rumours about whoever she’s feuding with etc.. love her or hate her you have to respect what she’s brought to the show #teammonica

All the Gargoyle and Meemaw stans preach that they love them because they’re ‘authentic’ and real friends and above the rest of them because they’re classy (which is a load of **** btw), whereas no Dorit stan is saying that about her. I am obsessed with Dorit because she is nothing but a camp, grifting clown that I can endlessly laugh at. That’s where the BH fandom has gone completely crazy.

IT HAS IMPLICATIONS !!!! ELABORATE !!!! i swear to god i am completely cognizant that black people face more in this country and the world than white people ever will, and that Dorit needs to be sensitive to Garcelle’s feelings about that , but Garcelle is doing absolutely nothing to help these women navigate these complexities when she says “i don’t trust this group around my children” or “what’s a better word instead of attack [for feeling like you’re coming at me {when she was}]” or “what are you implying [by calling me a karen]” ??? and when Dorit asks her to elaborate she just gets to say “i don’t know” and they’re all supposed to sit and act like it’s hunky dory after that ????? nah girl you need to use your voice ma’am 1

Lisa, Alexia and Adriana are getting on my nerves. Or maybe they were normal episodes but everything feels mediocre compared to what RHOSLC gave us

Monica isn’t the Geraldo her fans want so badly to believe she is. Anyway, Beverly Hills is so painful to sit through. The only enjoyable moment last night was Kim Richards. They can't move forward with the same cast. Annamarie is likely a one and done. Denise ruined her chances to align with Garcelle and others. We'll see what becomes of it but Kyle's storyline won't last much longer.
