Mariya Takeuchi Posted October 14 Posted October 14 can anyone help me identify a movie? reddit was no help Early 00s, possibly Australian. movie starts in B&W with a group of women driving down a highway being pursued by a group of men after they committed a robbery. movie switches to colour when the women arrive at some type of abandoned industrial site. they hide in some type of water tank when the men arrive but then a monster or animal appears that starts killing everyone.

UnderratedVocalist Posted October 15 Posted October 15 (edited) Terrifier 3 was bat **** crazy I generally have very high tolerance to horror/gore but god DAMN some scenes made my skin crawl. Even though Damien is a MASTER at his craft - I feel like he may be complete ****** up. Because HOW THE **** YOU COME UP WITH **** LIKE THAT? Also, I feel like this movie perfectly set up the next installment, which I believe will be the final chapter. Sierra will travel to the pits of hell to save Cappy and it will be the ultimate battle between Good VS Evil / Angerl VS Demon. I don't get how people say the storyline didn't progress. We got multiple subtle hints at where this is going, which I'm sure will be expanded in the next movie. Edited October 15 by UnderratedVocalist
Miles. Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Watched Caddo Lake and Oddity this weekend. Thought they were both excellent! Caddo Lake is definitely not horror, but it was very well done nonetheless. Very meticulously plotted, which was important considering the sci-fi element. Great performances from Dylan and Eliza. It reminded me so much of Dark, the iconic German masterpiece, from the overall story right down to the main twist with Anna. Oddity was such a great low-budget film. Well-written, spooky right from the jump, some excellent jump scares (especially with the camera), and fantastic acting. I didn't even realize the twins were played by the same person until halfway through. And I LOVED how they subverted expectations () with Yana's fate 9/10 for both! Ate up Nolegs and The Subshart!

SchmoodRing Posted October 16 Posted October 16 BTW just saw SMILE 2. WOW. WOW. WOW. This director is really talented. And my goodness NAOMI SCOTT needs to be the next big thing. Home girl can model, sing, dance and act her ass off! She gave it her like as if her life depended on it for real. Toni Colette meets Sarah Michelle Gellar performance wise. What the Scream movies did for Jenna and Melissa I want this movie to have to the same upward trajectory for everyone involved. 1 2
