I don't really get the point, after watching the trailer. It didn't really seem to have a much higher budget than "Last Shift". But it does seem to give a little bit more backstory than the original.

I like what i see. I jumped at one part of the trailer. Lol. It looks like it got a little, just a little more budget. Lol. Excited for this!

I'm pretty ok with the rate except a few places for some movies. Glad it was a hit! We should make a list with what movies are already released this year to not miss anything for next year.

Good job on the rate, @ChapelHooker

The flop hostess @Reverse Warholian can go start their new rate, I guess.

Never ever been more dissatisfied with a list before.

Barbarian and Black Phone deserved better.

Anyone can create a full list?

Finally watched MIDsommar. @Reverse Warholian some people lied to me several times. I didn't know it would be The Wicker Man but worse... Some good cinematogrpahy but that was it. A 4/10 at best. Bad characters, bad runtime, bad characters arcs, bad ending.

Finally got around to watching The Outwaters and it was some unwatchable crap. Half of the film is literally just a small circle from the beam of a flashlight. Pretentious ****. Definitely going in the **** list for 2023.

You do realize that flop movie is THEE sequel to the #1 and #2 placing films in this rate, right?

Sorry luv. Was too busy watching 2023's Top 10 contender COCAINE BEAR 🐻 in stunning high definition quality at my local cinema - which is difficult to get, not everyone has that to their credit in Bolivia. @mellenthin

Hereditary >>>

Florence Pugh's performance and a couple of cool visual elements aside, Midsommar is indeed MID. Can't believe Prude Randolph enjoyed it of all ppl :dies:

I remember my entire cinema erupting in laughter at the sex scene near the end :rip:

Trapped on her family’s isolated farm, Pearl must tend to her ailing father under the bitter and overbearing watch of her devout mother.

Lusting for a glamorous life like she’s seen in the movies, Pearl’s ambitions, temptations, and repressions all collide,

in the stunning, technicolor-inspired origin story of X’s iconic villain.

I knew Poorl was winning this rate but I am SEETHING profusely at X outranking Legendarian by 0.5 of a point :deadbanana4:

If X was a spot or two lower (or Barbarian higher) on even a single ballot, they would've rightfully swapped. Crazy :rip:

Also JAIL for @Khamis for not participating. Can't wait to sabotage her in my next rate.

The only good part of Midsommar was Florence's performance. Otherwise it was just pretentious crap that should've been a 75 minute movie drawn out into a 150 minute slough.
