The next 7 stars raid is a tera poison pokemon. People including me assume it's Greninja since it learns gunk shot and pairs well with his OG typing (We know it'd have water shuriken and dark pulse) and well all 2 raids have been starters.

Or maybe the BB Gren will be coded with Protean as the HA?

Then again they did remove "Ash"-Greninja from the games...

Garganicon is such a beast in competitive, take a lots of hits , he, Kingdelgo and Talentflame are my aces right now in doubles.

Tera makes wonders on him but with how limited the dex is, he does its job really good, especially checking the ugly cat.

I opened Legends Arceus today again on a whim .... IMO it looks just so much better. Immediate nostalgic feelings too, I really love that game.

Greninja won't be nearly as good with Protean now nerfed, lol. It might even fall down to UU, I fear, especially since everything gets Spikes now and we don't have a shortage of high Speed mons. 

 

Water Shuriken is still cute, though.

I didn’t expect such a huge jump from Arceus as far as detail too. This gen in Pokémon isn’t a serve but my expectations weren’t high. The glitches are cringe too. But the best Pokémon game as far as gameplay experience.

With tera as a gimmick, yeah it will be hard but who knows he may surprise, he is still one of the fastest in OU (I think only the ugly cat, Dragapult and Chien-Pao outspeed it), water shuriken with loaded dice should cause some good damage.

WS is decent, but with Loaded Dice he will do pathetic damage with his other moves, especially if Protean has already activated. Not to mention he'll get walled to hell and back by anything bulky because of lack of coverage. I guess a Choice Specs set could be decent? Especially because of the Speed + U-Turn + the new Protean mechanics. It looks like he'll suffer against more bulky teams and will be better against more offensive ones, but idk. Being fast doesn't mean all that much if he can't get the 2/OHKOs before getting hit back considering his terrible bulk.

 

On another note, Chien-Pao is probably next on the ban hammer list. 

 

But there's still some huge changes coming with Home and DLC, so we'll have to wait and see, I guess.

Yeah, you’re right, I guess choice or life orb will make it work, either way, I’m excited for it to be back and finally in a switch game.

 

Yeah, I see it getting suspect tested soon since it KOs or 2Kos everything with crunch/icicle crash. Kingdelgo loves to see it (the fact that his check or counters are being sent to ubers is such a kii)

We love that for the legendary #1000 Pokemon place holder. 

 

Wait, I had forgotten Greninja had not appeared in any Switch game yet.  Surprising given all the payola he got back then. 

 

I'm so ready for the Hisuian mons, though. Really want to use them on a regular mainline game already. Maybe Annihilape can even be given another chance after Home drops since we'll get more good Flying types + H-Zoroark.

I’ve never been interested in meta so I’ve never really messed with EVs and IVs. Is there a guide anyone can link me to to start creating some mons for these raids? I’m def gonna miss Cinderacist but I MUST get Greninja next weekend  I know farming raids for candy is the best way to level up but idk about the rest.

(Expert Belt) Gholdengo: Maket It Rain - Protect - Shadow Ball - Nasty Plot ----- Tera flying

(Punching Glove) Annihilape: Bulk Up - Rage Fist - Final Gambit - Earthquake ----- Tera fairy

(Sitrus Berry) Talonflame: Brave Bird - Tailwind - Flare Blitz - Tera (Grass) ----- Tera grass

(The thing that boost rock moves) Garganacl: Wide Guard - Salt Cure - Protect - Recover ----- Tera poison

(Sas) Pawmot - Close Combat - Fake Out - Revival Blessing - Double Shock ----- Tera electric

(Banded) Palafin - Jet Punch - Flip Turn - Ice Punch - Close Combat ----- Tera water

 

Gholdy, Talon and Garga work nicely together and Pawmot is quite helpful reviving a fallen partner but I feel like there's no much sinergy among them  , yesterday a rain team with a freaking Bellibolt walled me because the fucker kept getting boosted with its ability and parabolic charged damaged and kept increasing its HP. So I don't know who to replace to make it work better.

I would run Drain Punch on the Ape for recovery with bulk up. You don't have many support Pokemon, Garg has wide gaurd and Talonflame has tailwind, but I would replace one of them with a pure support Pokemon like Amoongus or Murkrow

Yeah, I was planning to replace EQ for DP on Annihilape. I think I may get rid of Talentflame over Murkrow to get more support or replace Garg for Grimmsnarl to get screens and more speed control with t-wave. Will try with both, sucks that Home isn't avaiable yet, my Grimmnsnarl from Sword is really to fight.
