Rence Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Paper Mario remake looks amazing They better announce a Direct after its release cause there's nothing else to look forward to until the holidays
Magickarp Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Dock supports 4K & still has USB-C port. Screen goes up to 8 inches & 1080p. Backwards compatibility with Switch1 cartridges, but Switch2 cartridges won't fit Switch1. Joycon2 are larger & magnetically attach to the console. SL/R buttons are metallic. New button behind each joycon, & below the home button on the right joycon. Switch2 Bluetooth supports existing Joy-Con and Pro controllers, & still features HD vibration. Kickstand has a damping bracket for improved angle adjustment. https://mynintendonews.com/2024/04/27/switch-accessories-manufacturer-seemingly-posts-details-of-switch-2/ 1

Gameplay is a 10/10 for me and I love the callbacks to previous Fire Emblem games. Characters and story are a mixed bag but personally I liked it. Spoiler Not to mention the amount of daddy characters in this game. Vander, Boucheron, Diamant, Fogado, Bunet, Mauvier, heck even Lord Sombron
Eternium Posted May 6 Posted May 6 I have a feeling that the Direct next month will be huge. Our first taste of the Super Switch is coming and I'm ready for some news on some sequels. Other than the obvious upscale Tears of the Kingdom, Legends Z-A, Mario 3D and Mario Kart coming next year, I'm hoping we get news on Yooka-Laylee 2 and the new Mana game coming to Switch 2.
Ego. Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Has there been any notable info on Metroid prime 4? I can't believe how long we've gone without any actual updates on that game
ATRL Moderator feelslikeadream Posted May 7 Author ATRL Moderator Posted May 7 And what about the Metroid Prime 2 and 3 remasters? The MP1 remaster was so good. Why didn't they put out MP2 during this dry year?
Crashed Posted May 7 Posted May 7 I guess they'll announce it in January and release it in March just like the first Switch. But I'd rather have the console earlier because my Switch looks like it's been through a lot

Archetype Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Slow, lazy Nintendo. I hope their next console is actually worth whatever they sell it for, because the Switch has been hot garbage for 75% of its lifecycle. Amazing exclusives but trash hardware. 3

The only thing I'm dreading is the possibility of Pokemon Legends being the cross-gen launch title similar to BOTW
Timeless Posted May 7 Posted May 7 We already knew it was going to be announced at some point this year. Everyone acting like this is groundbreaking information 1
