Not likely. But anywhere hostile to it, the right's now gone, probably for the next 40-50 years at a minimum. At least until there's more science on it. Alito directly cited the research behind it's being blocked in Sweden and the UK so until there's movement on that front I don't see much changing. The problem remains that I don't foresee movement on that front either based on the relatively minuscule size of the minority group making research difficult.

I'd say he'd much rather ban hormones for trans youth than ban abortion federally based simply on the polling.

Will the judge in Texas still be able to block access to a drug that is also used in miscarriages as well as abortions be allowed to give his take-no-prisoners order given that the Supremes seem to say legislators should make decisions, not judges? Wait! Whatever happened to doctors treating their patients??? And what about 'parents' rights'? Never mind… One of my friends is stocking up on estrogen patches out of pocket— even though Blue Cross covers it— in the event it will be unavailable even in Blue MA. Another of her contacts is in the process of moving her family to Spain. Another acquaintance is changing her gender marker from X back to F— they can pass as F and it will be safer, they think, given the uncertainty of the future. How did we get to such a dark place???

Hillary Clinton should never have been at the top of any ticket. It's genuinely too late now. There's no fixing the damage that the Democrats have caused by failing to be even slightly more of an appealing party to vote for. Theres a reason Biden pardoned his son. He knows it'll be a long time before Dems have any hope of getting re-elected, especially once reapportionment leaves them with an almost impossible path to ever getting 270 Electoral College votes. Checking out and protecting his family is the best possible move he can make for himself. Every other Democrat? They can get ******, as far as Joe Biden is concerned. I'm positive that he's feeling vengeful after getting pushed aside (even though he had even less hope of winning than Kamala did) 1
