Apparently they're recording it the hour before and then airing it at 6

Dems obviously won both 2020 and 2022.

Yeah, I know my earlier post was a little facetious, but I was certain that EV in AZ was R-friendly for some reason. I just couldn't find where I was getting that from.

Β

I just remember in 2020 AND 2022 me and my friends were panicking when Sinema was trailing McSally with EV and then again when Hobbs was trailing Lake in 2022 in EV… only for both to win in the end.

Β

I do think Trump has the edge for now, but it's not going to be some blowout. The enthusiasm for Harris is high here, Lake is a horrible candidate, and abortion (with every other Prop. being a mess) being on the ballot… it'll be close no matter what.Β

I haven't dug in the data much so I'll ask here. I have noticed in right-wing media they have been pushing concern over the Evangelical Christian vote being low and/or not voting this election. These past 2 weeks it's all they have been pressing so something must be alarming in their circles. I'm curious how that will play out.Β

I've seen that this is because Trump is trying to tout the line on abortion, depressing their enthusiasm.Β
Β

"Letting the states decide" isn't exactly a great message for them since the states keep deciding against their beliefs.Β

Especially with a Republican Senate if Trump wins, I expect perhaps Alito or Thomas, if they do want to retire, will tell the Federalist Society and Heritage Foundation who they want as their replacement. @ClashAndBurn's been good here mentioning Sotomayor's selfishness for not retiring earlier with her diabetes after all the RBG backlash.

It's not even that she's on deaths door, cause she's not. But it's highly likely Democrats don't control the Senate again for a very long time (if ever), so… it just seems like willful blindness or delusional self interest. Much like how RBG only cared about being replaced by the first woman president. Which would have never been allowed to happen by McConnell, but whatever.

I can't imagine Fox News chopping up her characteristic word salads to somehow make her look better like 60 MinutesΒ :shutup:Β

Sis will you be voting early for Kamala in Georgia

Why do we have so much better tracking methods for swing states (MI and GA for example) than we did in 2020? :deadbanana2:Β It almost feels surreal. It won't say much about how people are voting but turn out data is good!

The simple follow-up should be why does a woman who lives in Georgia deserve to have less rights over her body than a woman who lives in Pennsylvania....shouldn't the right to make medical decisions over your own body be a basic human right
