The democrats can most certainly pass $15 min wage if their majority doesn't contain right wing grifters like Manchin and Sinema

Not to be too pessimistic but isn't Fetterman going to be the new Sinema and refuse to vote for thisย :ducky:

ย Biden was down 6 points in the last NYTs poll. More work to do, but I have faith Harris can do it.ย

I'll vote for Kamala (I'm in a red state and Stein isn't on my ballot) but we should criticize our candidates.

Glad you got that out of the way. Criticise away but do you honestly think Marianne is above reproach? Never hear you say one bad word about her.
ย

There is a time to pick a candidate and given how late Biden pulled out, Kamala is the only realistic chance we have to avoid Project 2025 from taking us back to the year 1825.ย

If she picks a VP candidate who is appealing to the voters she needs to win over and has a great convention she could take the lead by a few points I believe

The narrative of Kamala being a cop is so tired and lazy, especially when you look at her actual record of incarcerations as AG.ย

This unfortunately doesn't hold up to scrutiny and has already been laid out in 2020. Showing regret is a more viable path for her than denial.ย

Biden's main allies in Delaware led the charge to kill the $15hr minimum wage. Them and 3 other centrist Dem senators killed it.ย

One theory is he thinks an insane asylum is the same thing as political asylum and that's the sort of people we're "letting into the country."ย  :rip:

This thread pretty much says it all for me when it comes to Kamala.

ย I like Andy I do, but he comes off too practiced and prepped. he's slowly going down the list of who's the better choice after every appearance. ๐Ÿ’€

I can say this, from someone in the relative area, this comes off as endearing from someone like him. He is prepped and practiced, because he's a good politician and good person who understands the importance of what he says.

It's incredible how much the polls are already shifting. Amazing how quickly running someone that isn't a walking corpse can change things.ย ย :gaycat:

@GraceRandolphย your posts today alone reeks of desperation to try to smear Harris anyway possible to make yourself feel better about the non existent chance of Williamson ever being a serious contender for president.ย

its sad and you should rise above that.ย

My boomer female boss from Florida wants Pete as the VP so badly and she keeps telling me how excited her two Gen Z daughters are about Kamala lol. :jonny: She's been a Kamala truther since 2020 so she's finally getting her way.

I can see Fetterman breaking with Harris on issues that he might have supported under Biden tbh. He seems to be embracing more of a maverick, contrarian role in politics.
