What consequences could the potential sabotage of the Zaporizhzhia plant carry? Chernobyl-esque?

It will likely be worse than Chornobyl. Just a reminder, a whole USSR was trying to fight the consequences of the explosion. Now, few to none will be there to deal with it. Impacted countries will depend on where the wind blows I guess

I read a good article on this, will share some info tomorrow. What I wrote prior is just from memory

@nasa If he follows through with this, it may be considered an attack on NATO.

I’m just wondering if there will be any reaction (read: actions) other than deep concern. Black Sea will be polluted either way, and if the wind blows south, Turkey will definitely be polluted, too. Another NATO option is Poland I guess, if the wind goes that direction

Another thing to remember is that Black Sea is also connected to the Mediterranean Sea, so it may affect some other countries if the radiation/pollution/whatever is strong enough

I’m no expert at geography and radiation tho don’t come @ me anyone

No, not Chernobyl 2.0. More like Fukushima. Afair the most important difference is that there's no graphite in this type of reactor (like in Chernobyl).

Apparently the approximately 11 people that died were collateral, then, Yevgeny? :deadvision:

This goes in the same category for me as the nonchalant reaction there to the preferred method of assassination now by balcony overthrowing :ace:

Seeing as the Wagner group are some of Russias only properly trained troops - how the **** will they continue war with Ukraine?

Seems the Nuclear power plant meltdown will be Putins excuse to pull back and finish the war. He’s actually going to cause a nuclear meltdown in Mainland Europe. What a sick ******* bastard.

If Zaporizhzhia nuke plant gets sabotaged, then the radiation would affect Russia, potentially Moscow as well, no? Worms for brains :deadbanana2:

I genuinely do not get how the West does not get involved if a nuke is used? That is just not something the West will let slide by. :deadbanana: Putin wants the West to get involved so badly.
