I don't think they said who invited aespa on the article tho so it could be 88rising inviting them to perform but let's wait for the schedule ;)

I swear to god LSM. If Blackpink can do it there is zero reason Aespa cannot. Just turn on the backing track and let it happen. If they don't, they're really just setting up the girls to be dragged for NO reason

Cute fact : In 2019 they only streamed weekend 1 and in weekend 2 they debuted a curated re run experience BUT they made sure to make an exception for BP (like they did for headliners Ariana/Tame Impala etc) Still quite exclusive considering how limited re run slots were and live sets were even less. It was Coachella showing they knew that BP was one of the biggest moments of that year

They seem to have a short set and if they really pop up as guests for 88 rising since Jackson is back in SK  (his set was 10ish mins I think).... not only is it gonna be heavy playback to full lipping but it directly means SM shamelessly lied on the girls main twitter very clearly pushing the narrative that they were invited by the organization and completely excluded 2ne1 too (perhaps they didn't know cause they were a surprise ) .

 

This would be a 2in1 (pun intended) embarrassment I absolutely do not wish for these girls. And if the new song they're revealing is in English.... SM began really well with them I hope their hubris and greed doesn't get seduced by NL/Savage's success and they go weak in the knees chasing  western validation again after how they tried and failed going after BTS with both Superm and NCT. 

 

I also would like to see SingSing deliver live for a huge crowd like she deserves .

SM knows what they doing. They deliberately didn’t invest for the year-end performances so aespa got the reputation for having no stage presence. Now the kpop community will have no choice to tune for their Coachella performance to find the slightest mistakes but Aespa will shake the world and deliver a good performance and antis will have no choice but to stan. Boom Aespa world domination

Yep! SM said that aespa has been invited to perform at Coachella's main stage on April 23rd. It’s next Saturday, the 88rising stage will be on the same date, and Jackson Will not be there.
