aespa didn't flop either btw, they had massive sales and although Girls didn't hit such peaks as Savage and NL had, it's still sitting pretty in Melon top 40 and Illusion the b-side is #21 2 months after the release

But how is PV still being #2 in Korea after 1 month without any promo in weeks NOT competing with the 4th Gen girls?
We dont even need to talk about global streams since they easily clear every other group there.. 
But even in korea they are competing?
IVE has been promoting every day nonstop for weeks aswell

Like i would get if BP served top 10 > OUT but they are sitting stable at #2 and Shut Down is also top 10 and we'll see where it stabilizes once they promote a bit (...well probably just 1 performance and thats it  )

It’s charting higher in it’s twelfth week than PV in its 2nd/3rd/4th weeks

while I love both tracks, I think I still prefer Pink Venom

the hate it gets is so odd to me

But thats the point.. the antis here are claiming they are flopping in Korea 
Fact is they are SMASHING worldwide and stomping on all other girlgroups combined globally atm
And in Korea they are still huge but Miss Strawberrys group is the current IT group and After Like is bigger than PV. Cool. Doesnt mean that Pink Venom isnt still a huge smasha in Korea tho... and all that with barely lifting a finger in Korea. We all know how important promo is for korean charts atm

it's always the same members going back and forth too 

 

instead of worrying about records and sales we should worry about the fact that we had 0 promo except for a lousy jimmy kimmel performance (without an interview or anything), why are they even in LA?

All these fightings between the BP and aespa stans 

 

the truth is:

 

Blackpink selling slower than expected and struggling to stay on top of the charts against IVE and NewJeans, and getting outsold by Twice first week in the US, despite having the “untouchable” status as the “world’s biggest GG”….IS an underperformance. No matter how much that hurts some of y’all to hear. Of course YG is to blame for wasting their potential and hype after the ALBUM.
 

Similarly, aespa struggling to stay in the top 10 after scoring a mega national hit Next Level and another smash Savage and being called “4th gen leaders” daily here to the point of annoyance by some…IS an underperformance.
 

so just make peace with these facts yall, just like how the onces have made peace with the fact that Twice’s digital dominance and viability in Korea is gone and we are focusing on their global rise now with the album sales and streams. No need to be so defensive over facts and logic
