It's so weird how Yg and Hybe never confirm or deny BP-BTS ships   like Lisa and Jk and now Jennie and V, but they're quick to deny all ships with irrelevant girlys 

 

 

... and What about the 2 Blackpink concerts in Korea? why is there no sold out yet?  Or are they not for sale yet?

This whole jennie v thing is kinda insane ? idk those pics we’ve seen seem photoshopped to me but if they are together…… why does my sis love men with crazy fans

Do we actually think SM is going to see all these girl groups smashing and rethink their promotional strategy. 

 

After a phenomenal 2021 and great start to 2022 with DCT/Step Back they just completely fumbled the bag.

 

Prioritizing Western promo over Asian promo despite not being established in Asia. 

Complete lack of presence in Korean media (2 weeks of promo and only performing on each show once, hardly any variety appearances, no fixed member on any show)

Pushing Life's Too Short HARD despite 0 noise being made.

Releasing Illusion out of nowhere with 0 hyping and then failing to capitalize on the song taking off. 

Always mediaplaying to make them seem bigger than they are (Coachella "main stage", "1M in queue for Japan showcase" "fastest Korean gg to land on BB200" "Aespa invited to UN after BP and BTS")

Allowing them to literally be harassed at a school festival with 0 security

Giving them a boy group noise track as their title song with an absolutely horrid dance

Releasing an album with half the songs being previously released  

 

Seeing how SNSD was promoted for their 15th anniversary is lovely as a Sone but also annoying as an aespa fan because SM clearly still knows how to dominate the scene in Korea. SNSD has been everywhere the past couple of weeks. But they just aren't doing anything for aespa besides trying to make them the next BTS/BP which just isn't going to happen.

 

It's so frustrating as a fan  Just focus on giving them good music and promoting them in Korea/Asia PLEASE

  These old guys running kpop labels have such a romanticized view of the major western labels and the associated legacy media and affirmation that they can't see the power and the market they've accumulated from decades of nerds finding their wares on the internet.  Or, maybe they're just selling out because they're now older.
