I think that with a live band and a crowd that knows who they are, Aespa could. The talent is there. But that's just me

 Live singing is so important for stage presence. It applies to every group. Like that Blackpink Coachella performance is amazing because of the energy the girls are giving, and moments like Jennie's rap. No lip synced performance of D4 even comes close.

 

Maybe if more K-pop fans understood what live singing while dancing actually sounds like, stopped harping on about 'stability' and praising acts for pre-recorded vocals, things could be better.

Well apparently according to Wikipedia Scooter is apart of the HYBE Board of Directors. I'm guessing most of his profits are still coming from Ithaca Holdings own activities, from all of the other businesses he's involved in, and maybe from whatever activities HYBE's conducting in America than from Lesserafim since he's a distant figure to Source Music.

I'm glad they sang live-ish. Ningning and Winter sounded good. Overall forgettable though. Maybe they would've left more of an impression if they were allowed more time to gain experience with crowds but that's SMs fault , management seem keen on skipping steps as if they're chasing something. I'm gonna need to hear the official of the new song but it sounds cute even if it's filler. Overall SM got what they wanted for their mediaplay , aespa will benefit and their stans seem content so everyone who already supported them won.

I still wish the setlist didn't include BM or Savage, they could have done with DCT, Yeppi Yeppi/Lucid Dream bop after bop serve after serve. But still very proud of the girls and hoping SM helps them to get better.

RIGHT NOW if you go back like 3 hours 20 mins or something you get to rewatch the performance on the official livestream. But it's only TODAY. If you need any help orienting on the livestream, they come after Steve Lacy and before Brockhampton and right before them there's a group of male dancers in red doing a dance routine.
