She hasn't got the biggest era or hits of the year like Olivia or Taylor or others. She has many moderate and solid hits. If you're the biggest (with the biggest hits or album) the fall will be huge too. Look at Katy or Miley. Selena has been consistent through the years. Even her flops /underperformances were not tragic as others and end with decent streams or longevity. She really does the minimum so I can't imagine with a full treatment.

I don't know how it will play out in the future because she has been releasing for so long, but she does have tons of hits, and like you say, didn't fall off like Miley or Demi. Her music career is such a mystery. She literally has never flopped hard with her english music and almost all of her singles reach top 40. She does need, imo, to do some promo next era.

She is definitely in the emmy conversation and is also popular so THR would be dumb not to have her. I was just about to comment on this. I was trying to see with the last cover in 2019 when we can expect the comedy cover and I’m thinking maybe next month. Yes, I have the two in my list haha, along with maybe Hannah Einbinder and Hannah Waddingham (Hacks and Ted Lasso) and maybe someone from The White Lotus like Jennifer Coolidge. Or Juno Temple. Or someone random from a not so popular comedy series that the network or platform wants to campaign hard for. Maybe Issa Rae (she did do the roundtable in 2017 but I guess it's been long enough that she could be on again lol) I'm also super excited for Actors on Actors, I so want to see her with someone super popular right now like one of the three Marvel guys (Andrew Garfield, Sebastian Stan, Oscar Isaac) or Jung Ho-Yeon from Squid Game.
