I don’t really get the excuse this time. With the build up to the performance with rehearsals being held across Europe, i had much higher expectations :/ I thought it would be like the superbowl performance but full of energy LOL! We all love her and if this is her loosening up for more shows and a music release that's great - but people are tired and are entitled to a meltdown after so long and still no news. She was obviously a bit rusty, the dancing/choreography wasn't great, and she skipped too many singing parts, but it wasn't as bad as some people are making it out to be. 1

In a couple of days yall will forget about that show and go back to thinking she’s releasing this year. Meanwhile she’s looking visibly bothered and fed up, giving us the stank face and making her bestie lecture us cause we still show demand for her music after all these years of teasing and edging. It’s increasingly bothering me that she doesn’t straight up say that she’s not in that mindset or that she doesn’t have the time rn or whatever. Melissa f*cking annoyed me. Relampago. Posted March 2 Posted March 2 My thoughts are very cut and dry: She’s clearly not passionate about performing or music at all anymore. Not that she really ever was in the same way a lot of girls are, but now she has all the resources to truly give us nothing and still live even more lavishly than when she had reason to. That’s fine. She gave us 8 albums and most of her 20s to give us great energy and a great time. But if she really thinks she can come back with this type of energy, I’d genuinely rather her give us nothing ever again. There was something so lacking in that wedding performance. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt that it was just a private performance, but if she pulled up with that energy for a return to music, the disappointment would be far beyond any disappointment I’ve felt from her since Anti. I’m not trying to be dramatic at all, but it’s a lose-lose situation if she releases music she’s not passionate about since she will not even want to do it and we will not even want to consume it. So just keep it locked up and leave Anti as your magnum opus and give us a kiss goodbye and go enjoy your family Rih, you deserve it.
