Yeah, I mentioned this in the song thread a few days ago: I started noticing that all the posts her team was releasing with/about CP weren't really talking about the song itself but were just talking about the album in general, which convinced me they're just going to push it once the album drops instead of releasing it beforehand.

honestly outside of not tweeting the pre-save link to your big "comeback" single (that came without a video or performance…) I think I've been pretty much content with saying it is what it is atp. only other thing I don't understand as a whole is the long stretch between the actual announcements and the releases. everything honestly could've just came out late march/sometime in april and it would've been way better than having an entire two months filled with absolutely nothing but a cover and the dateless announcement itself.

ITA and I'm actually wondering if they just announced the album without anything planned because there was a fifth harmony thing on tiktok happening at that time. To me it makes no sense why after a long return there was no video with the song that is suppose to be your big comeback. It's bad enough it's a slow song but no video... and then there's no physicals or merch. Literally nothing but the song. I mean the magazines were nice but this rollout is terrible
