We had soundscan sales from 2003 when it was re-certified 5xP. It shows a .8m difference between the two. 

 

then we have year end soundscan numbers for the following years 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009, with 2010 partially estimated.

 

Then we know that it infact was available on BMG and CH.

 

It's called circular interpolation with cause.

It’s at least 9x platinum eligible because it was 8x in 2020 and it’s been moving a ton of units each year.

around 350,000 units per year in the US. Well over 1,1 million since then.

2023 - 264k

2022 - 262k

2021 - 272k

2020 - ?

 

they had her total as 5 million and change by early 2021 and she was certified 8x platinum.
