Well, in the end of day, you will always have these ppl. They are all arounds us. And it's pointless to try to get rid of them or discredit the Grammys.

Yeah, luckily we as fans don't need to see her earn a Grammy to know she's great. I do think a win would probably give her closure so that's why I care just a little bit if she pulls through with at least one.

When UMG takes their music off TikTok, her streams will go down, down, down...

Will they? Are they that stupid to sabotage the streaming revenue? On side note I believe that Lana is less depended on TikTok compared to other pop stars expect for Taylor.

They're supposed to remove all of their artists' music before the end of today. She'll be ok since she secured a fanbase out of the TikTok demographic but everyone, not just her, is gonna see a drop...

For Lana's career I think her post-BTD catalog will suffer the most though. Check BTD vinyl sales vs other albums that gap is much bigger than it is on streaming.  NFR! and UV has gone viral a lot in TikTok.

Lana also has less playlisting than Gaga and Katy do, which is a great indicator of her organic success, so I believe in terms of percentage she will face a lower drop than many other artists.

She really went from her longest album title to the shortest :gaycat6:

I am concerned about her numbers, when do we begin to see the impact though?

I have a very good feeling with this country album. Everyone is hating but watch her maybe getting a Grammy Shmammy for it.

I think the one thing that'll help her is that her unreleased catalogue shouldn't be affected. So even if the released stuff isn't there, the other viral unreleased songs can keep her in the TikTok GPs spotlight until UMG and TikTok sort themselves out. I've seen sooooo many tiktoks using Queen of Disaster and its instrumental, the other versions of SYTH, etc. Plus there's always edited versions of the released songs that should survive too.

Probably minimal but in terms of a new official track going viral, we will see if it can still happen. Edited fan uploads will probably matter more now as long as they can stay up.

Her music was removed beginning of yesterday and she's still experiencing repeaks...

I don't know, perhaps in a month or so. TikTok definitely played a role in her POST-UV longevity though. I remember BTD was still charting in 2014 (before streaming became the major form of music consumption) and it outlasted UV in early 2015.

Albums like BTD, 21, Back to Black and will be the most stable. TF+M and BTW will plummet. I am curious to see Rihanna and Katy, I think Rihanna will be stable too.  Not sure about Katy I haven't see her go viral very often. She had a magical increase after the NYE with the high playlisting.

Example of what users are doing now that the official music is gone:

Their official IG account used the real NFR! track but on TikTok they went with a remade instrumental.

Very happy to see this, this album

is very underrated and gets unnecessary hate

I guess it’s a playlisting thing now

Rihanna has what? 5 songs on tik tok. She’ll probably be stable
