How many Spotify users listen to Broadway / traditional pop albums? Cheek to Cheek did well because of the novelty, but Gaga fans are burnt out on this type of music tbh. 5 1
chromatricon Posted September 29 Posted September 29 (edited) So nice that we're about to get new televised performance of her Edit: so this is not her Edited September 29 by chromatricon 1

If it manages to average 9M streams per day from here until the end November it will reach 1B by then. An 8M daily average takes it to 927M by the end of November. Both are incredible numbers to be honest, but I do really think 9M average is doable. Considering it has been constantly peaking week after week, I think DWAS still has another 3 weeks (even 4) averaging +10M daily streams. We'll shall see about its decrease thereafter, but if it manages to stay above 10M for the next 3 weeks it should very easily manage to average 9M for the next 60 days. 1 1

Puttanesca Posted September 29 Posted September 29 When's the last time we got a televised performance from her where she's singing one of her own songs? Was it the HMH performance? It's been too long

Jack! Posted September 29 Posted September 29 I have a feeling Chappell might pull out of SNL on Nov 2nd and I wonder if they might try snag that place (unless she has a planned date later on in the series) 1

Which is around 3rd week of November. It is doable. And the average streams that DWAS needs to break the record will just keep going down. 2 1

I feel like a lot of my favorite artist's discographies are full of songs about love and relationships, which is great of course, but I love that so many of Gaga's songs are about a range of topics all over the place: self worth/image, science (Venus), fashion, pop culture, friendships, fame, family, mental health, sexuality so on That's exactly one of the main reasons i started listening to Gaga's music. I remember being 9 or 10 and all of the mainstream songs were cheesy and about love, as a kid it was hard for me to relate. I didn't know a lot of english back then, but i knew her songs weren't about cheesy love, and the ones about love (like bad romance) portrait it in such a unique way that it didn't feel like a love song, but more so about obssesion. And besides that you had a lot of things to focus besides the topic of her songs (fashion, choreo, visuals, shock factor, her persona...). She was this cool lady who had an extravagant life and different topics to talk about, not the most relatable, but also very unique. I'm glad she's doing love songs nowadays because I can actually relate to them. But it was 2
ImpassiveThomas Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Y'all should listen to Mylène Farmer btw, gay icon in France

Universo Posted September 29 Posted September 29 she's still performing twice at Kimmel right? cause a solo DWAS performance wouldn't hurt
IBeMe Posted September 29 Posted September 29 realistically, how much u guys think LG7 will open with. Yes we dont know what it sounds like but just judging by star power, hype etc...what do u guys think? I'm going to guess 150-175k range for LG7

JFAD mixed w/ LG7 lead and Harlequin will not give the same momentum the way ASIB did
