If you can't grapple with the fact that this is a passion project that she personally wants to do, because SHE found it to be artistically fulfilling… idek what to tell at this point. Gaga is nearing billionaire status, she'll forever have the financial stability to create any sort of music, regardless of whether her previous efforts flop or not. Meth Labs taking off commercially was crucial to this stability in hindsight. But that also means that she's also just gonna do the promo that she wants to do, and that she has absolutely no desire of running down the TV & radio stations like she used to, she's gonna appear when she feels like it. She's gonna treat everything the same, whether it smashes or flops. She doesn't have the hunger anymore to compete in the charts, and that's fine. She's already at living legend status.
