Nnnn I really hope the gp and other critics see that Gaga was so wronged in this film. 13 minutes ago, duybeeGAshantiGA said: The way everything is going the right way with music and the opposite with the movie yeah but it's quite clear that there's sth wrong. The vibe isnt very nice around the movie. It really feels like the hype peaked with the first teaser and since then it's just been going downhill. Nothing's set in stone but the vibe is definitely off... I was so excited for this (almost as much as a new album) but my expectations took a major blow since Venice and it's quite sad. Hopefully LG7 lead will serve quality on all fronts because then I will definitely forget this in a heartbeat. Edited September 9 by SweetOreosOfHeaven 13 2

People know this film is a serious character film, not action superhero flicks, people won't be rushing to buy tickets the first hours/day like Marvel/DC fans do. Edited September 9 by GipJo 2
chosensparkles Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Global it goes First week: #2 / 75.1M streams / 31k sales Second week: #1 / 97.2M streams / 12k sales Third week: #1 / 105.8M streams / 10k sales Total: 278.1M streams, 53k sales 2 1
MadMax12 Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Katy's new singles only really charted in airplay charts because of payola. Imagine if Gaga had payola on top of the streams, it would be number 1

I hope you are right I admit I know jacksh-t about these sort of predictions, but since they come from a box office forum I assumed the members there are well-versed in these topics

FameIsForever Posted September 9 Posted September 9 The way I'm not even bothered to see JFAD on its premiere. Don't think I ever will be bothered by another movie until she works with a director that actually values her
Europe Posted September 9 Posted September 9 People are unsure about this movie because it is so weird and unusual and even now the plot is not really clear. They are not going to rush out and pre-buy tickets. This one needs good word of mouth for that.
Miracle Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Don't care much about box office. The reviews (not how bad or good they are, but the ones who provide information on how little Gaga is on) almost made me think about not watching it at the cinema but I will cause even if she only has like 40 minutes of real screentime its still Gaga singing
Baby Judas Posted September 9 Posted September 9 I'm a gey lady gaga fan and a huge fan of Joker. I remember buying tickets for my 3 other friends just so we can help Joker 1 hit the 1B mark lmao. And even as a gay lady gaga fan, I was also disappointed when I found out that Joker 2 is a musical. Because let's be honest, most musical films are shits. I'm not talking about ASIB-type musical, but those musical films where the characters just out-of-nowhere sings a random corny ass song with cringe stage production, which I imagine this movie is going to be. I won't be surprised if most fans of the first movie, who are mostly straight homphobes, felt disappointed too and won't be watching the movie because of the musical aspect of it. A year later, I'm still wondering wtf were thinking turning the beloved Joker movie into a musical. Ugggh. god musical films really are the worst, but I'm still watching this because of Gaga. LFG! 4
Rhiannon Posted September 9 Posted September 9 I'm not watching joker 2 but it's just i don't enjoy musicals at all.. I hope Gar next movie is a sci-fi one 3

They deleted some scenes that looked incredible and Gaga is not even lead... Already lost my hype when they dropped the trailer with less Gaga scenes and supporting vibes/rumos swirling around Was hoping for the box office to SMASH but alas Still hoping for the GP to cone through
