And we are talking about the girl who has Poker Face, Bad Romance and Shallow on her catalogue. 1 minute ago, Aston Martin said: Each of Gaga's three biggest songs in terms of WW SPS may end up being from three different decades: Poker Face (2000s), Shallow (2010s), and Die with a Smile (2020s). That's extremely rare With Bad Romance and Just Dance rounding out the top 5 and ARTUW eventually getting into 6th place despite only being released as a single in two countries, her run as a hitmaker is insanely strong. Her smashes have massive SPS totals, strong recurrents, and are spread out over 16 years. Not to mention that her songs are extremely global too. When Gaga gets a hit, she gets a hit. ooopppp if we're being honest, Gaga never really flopped she just didn't release music in 2013-2018 that much #4 Applause #13 Do What U Want (no mv, canceled single) #32 Venus (promo single) #8 Dope (promo single) #74 G.U.Y. (flop) #95 Til It Happens To You (oscar bait single) #15 Perfect Illusion (flop) #4 Million Reasons #39 The Cure (coachella gift for fans, asib reject) NA Joanne NA John Wayne (not a single) without the promo singles, she basically just released 7 singles from 2013-2018 and out of 7 singles she had 2 decent hit songs (applause and million reasons) so that's just 5 flops dd so yeah fad hitmaker confirmed 1 2

Whenever she smashes, you just KNOW it won't just come and go. A feature that feels so rare this days. I also love how she is finally being recognized as the 'chameleon of music". Every review I've seen of DWAS praised her versatility and ability to blend in any genre, with anyone. We stan a ******* LEGEND. 6
TeemoR Posted September 2 Posted September 2 What a smash song that DWAS is. I honestly don't care about a #1 peak, I care more about longevity, which I hope it will have. I want her next smash hit to be solo though.

They are bigger than the biggest hits of other pop girls. Shimenet be consistent but when she hits she HITS. Her highs are higher than her peers' highest if that makes sense charaught Edited September 2 by charot 3

Her first hit ballad. Now half of her hit songs are all ballads 3

However, I do wonder if, from now on, all her new hits will be ballads or if she will be able to smash again with upbeat music. It's a bit rare for "older" artists to smash with pop music, right? I don't really expect LG7 to smash considering how experimental it may be. But with tiktok on her side, who knows. Girl knows how to create melodies like no one else. 3
Aston Martin Posted September 2 Posted September 2 The way this will NEVER come to fruition and she has damn-near doubled her classics since this skit took place 6 1

These 2 eras were both legit flops, let's be real. Applause and Perfect Illusion were ahead of their time. The other songs were meh. But that's okay, she has released amazing songs since then.

I hope she eventually does a ballad-album, but only when she gets older. I have faith that they have something planned for LG7 to at least be a moderate success commercial wise. It needs to be acclaimed, though. After all the waiting, this better be top 3 in her albums ranking. No Stupid Noises allowed!

bitchfit Posted September 2 Posted September 2 They really should pull a few little tricks, this is going to have such longevity, but a #1 would be so sweet. Maybe the taped (?) VMAs performance will help.
