Chaos Angel Posted February 22 Posted February 22 (edited) 1 hour ago, frankvert said: I don’t see the problem with a 3 month wait between the single & album. If the lead comes out on March 1st, why does it matter if the album comes out in June? March 1st: Lead single & MV May 24th: 2nd single & MV May 31st: Promo single & visualizer June 7th: Album release & another MV for a strong track Everything else will be carried by the GP and JFAD promo campaign, and will be at the mercy of streaming / social media audiences to go viral. So might as well elongate the era prior to release, before inevitably getting cut off. I don't see them doing this; she's been on a quicker/6-week gap timeframe since Joanne (Chromatica was originally planned for this). The only way this would work is if the lead is a hit through late May and doesn't tumble down like SL/PI after its debut. But the odds are not in her favor, so there could potentially be a gap in April/May with no hype whatsoever. A 5-10 week rollout, with the 2nd single/high profile collab promo single coming a week before the album will build the most momentum since hopefully the lead will not completely fizzle out by then. So, there would be two songs on album week doing solid numbers to add to the first week SEA. Edited February 22 by Chaos Angel

That was a competition. 1

I couldn't care less. I hope she says she checked herself into a mental hospital to prepare for Harleen.
frankvert Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I listened to Chromatica in full today (in the track order I posted on here recently) for the first time in a hot minute and wow it’s much better than I remember. Reorganizing the tracklist really makes a huge difference Also, Dolby Atmos really does wonders in elevating all production elements. Every song sounds so much richer, layered, and atmospheric. Here’s the sequencing again if anyone wants to give it a listen as well: Spoiler Chromatica I Alice Free Woman Plastic Doll Fun Tonight Chromatica II 911 Sour Candy Replay Enigma Chromatica III Sine From Above 1000 Doves Stupid Love Rain On Me Babylon 1 1
hausofbryan Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Gaga’s insane quotes are part of what makes her movie eras enjoyable. She’s always in the headlines for whatever absurd explanation comes through 2

Puttanesca Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Watched Gar's Superbowl performance again and the way she starts off with the DITD instrumental is such a sweet nod to her stans. 1

She has opinions and she's free to act the way she wants because acting is not her revenue job. Award campaigns have become so boring with most actors and actresses being either faking being shy that they are not actually campaigning or trying to displease in any way.
TheGerm Posted February 22 Posted February 22 They genuinely look like they are having so much fun in the ROM music video and it’s infectious ok? 1

Pop Art Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I was just downloading Fortnite in prep for tomorrow and saw it needed like 90GB of drive space on my MacBook? I don't even have half of that amount left on this dusty old (but reliable ) 2015 Air. Guess I'm sitting this one out, hopefully anything noteworthy ends up on YouTube or something.

Yep, it's the definition of a pop video, and her most pop friendly MV with decent digital effects, choreo, general coherence since *checks notes* umm John Wayne? (I wanna be nice and not predate it past a decade) Edited February 22 by Biggie 2
Bamboo Posted February 22 Posted February 22 ROM choreo actually eats for the most part. There’s a few sections I don’t love but it’s one of her better post-BTW choreos for sure
