JazzVeGas is probably one of the smartest moves that she made for her career and well-being.

Then we have Haus Labs, It currently has a promising potential to become another giant Beauty Company.

Because of that, I really admire and respect her as a Businesswoman. She's good at balancing her Artistic pursuits and expanding commercial ventures.

She's a role model for the new generation of female business leaders and owners. :clap3:

When it comes to making Dance-Pop Music, I think she's going to slowly deviate from it.

She's probably going to lean on another genre for LG7, because she has already given us another Dance Album previously. (Chromatica)

If she deviates from dance pop for another 5+ years she’s going to lose a chunk of her fanbase.

I think that Haus Labs is sucessful. It is not Fenty Beauty or Rare but it has great products and it is more popular than the Amazon version.

I think it is probably on the level of Rare, or getting close. It'll be interesting to see the new Celebrity makeup rankings when they come out next year. I think Haus will have moved way up. The Foundation outsells everything on Sephora including big name brands, and including Fenty. And just about everything from Haus gets rave reviews. My guess is it'll be a top 5 celebrity brand next year with momentum moving up. She really hit a home run with this rebrand.

I wonder if some of the conglomerates are interested in buying shares from Haus Labs. To put it in Context, LVMH owns 50% of Fenty Beauty and owns Sephora.

Haus Labs is currently private, but if they decide to make it public. Haus Labs would get massive capital from bigger corporations if they sold their shares.

That would eventually solve and expand their direct-to-consumer approach and gain more reach.

I can see L'oreal and Shiseido eyeing Haus Labs. Being one of the oldest cosmetic companies in the world (over 100+ years old) They might need another subsidiary for the younger and more cautious audience.

Vegas is the worst move of her career.  A legacy act and she's not even 40 yet.

I agree that she need to focus more on her film/discography, but we all know that she's not going to stay in vegas more than 2 month for a year. I think she will distinguish her persona as jazz act in vegas and pop act in world tour.

Vegas is the best move of her career.  A legacy act and she's not even 40 yet, incredible.

She became a phenomenon 2 years into her career, a super star in 4 and a legend in 8. After ASIB her career became indestructible, why not go to Vegas and have people pay thousands to travel to you and watch you perform?

While being in Vegas she is advancing her make up empire and leading a presidential committee. And the biggest movie of her career is being edited in the background during all of this!

Joanne as a whole is kinda aging like fine wine. We need Sinner's Prayer (country remix ft. Morgan Wallen and Zach Bryan) i fear

Making another useless dance-pop album is much worse, as well as collaborating with someone in order to pander to the public.

I'd rather have her delve into another genre of Pop Music.

Her fans who are not even 40 yet? Makes sense, REAL Gaga fans have to be as old as her in order to pass judgement on her career. It happens a lot.

Because the song that Gaga sang was not done with this producer, it was with Stevie Wonder.

Andrew Watt is the producer, Stevie Wonder only played the piano. He wasn't involved in the production.

What other genres do y’all want her to cover? I feel like a bedroom pop album would just seem phony coming from Gaga at like 40.

I'd love a chamber pop album. Something orchestral and grand but also matured and intelligent.

I’m just worried that Gaga will play it too safe with LG7. The GP has always responded to Gaga’s bigger swings for the most part. Poker Face became a bigger hit than the relatively safer Just Dance, and today Bad Romance is her biggest hit. Shallow also was unlike her past work, but proved successful. When Gaga has tried safer or expected routes to success like The Cure and HMH, the response has been underwhelming, so I’m guessing trendy collabs or softer bedroom pop would be received like those songs. I wonder if she would consider working with Hildur on LG7 after JFAD.

I think it depends on quality. ASIB was not a dance pop album but fans love it because it is a solid album. An example is Beyonce I think. She didn't release a pop album from Sasha I am Fierce up until Renaissance but because she served amazing albums in between she only grew to be a bigger name.

Eh, Bey is mainly R&B, and always incorporated some pop and hip hop elements on her albums. ASIB was a huge movie and soundtrack which helped it be embraced by fans, but if the movie had tanked I doubt fans would embrace it quite as much. Plus we’ve already had a dry spell (2014-2019) where Gaga focuses less on dance pop, another period like this could turn off some fans for good.

TF -> TFM -> BTW was an amazing string of releases that felt like a natural evolution and progression of the dance-pop sound she started off with TF, which then later incorporated more '' experimental '' and non-mainstream pop elements. To this day, BTW has an extremely peculiar sound that no other pop artist has managed to copy or imitate (successfully). This is what I need Gaga to do again, instead of mindlessly switching genres to see what sticks or whatever catches her fancy. I'd like her to see work with the foundation she set with Chromatica and developing it further so we can see the evolution of the sound and her vision.

But regardless, I think LG7 is going to be a mishmash of genres, few rock tracks, few ballads, few radio safe dance-pop songs for the homos.

Can you imagine if both Azealia Banks and R Kelly were on ARTPOP? :biblio::gaygacat6:

Can understand liddos wanting pop music but 2009Ga is never coming back  Industry has changed and she is doing moves to cement herself - she’s being advised all the time and if it doesn’t include doing what monsters want that’s for a reason. Actually look at how unreliable getting a hit now is. If TikTok doesn’t like your song that’s that. She’s better off putting it all into an album project (which is why Bey/Tay are still the only ones here from her era of MPG, super acclaimed albums where the tracks sell too)

Yeah, I wouldn't mind another house inspired album from Gaga that feels like a continuation of Chromatica, but an elevated version similar to what TFM was to TF.
